If anything only very small number of kids out there would have enough intelligence to actually play the game properly. It's just too complex. So I just don't know where they came with the idea that it's a child's game. Therefore only teens and some adults play it.

I agree. If I wanted to donate for disaster relief I would only trust local fundraisers like my church, or at Penn State where I go to school. I would never pay 800+ on one card. I get funny when I pay close to 10 dollars on one card. I can never trust someone online who is saying they're giving the money to charity because you wouldn't know. It sucks that people like that use such a horrible event like Haiti just to make a profit.
