do you have a firewire istalled in your laptop because the alesis mixer had a firewire port on the back of it or did you use a desktop

@Drummaboii90 i think this guy is using a mac laptop, macs automatically recognise any (most) interfaces and equipment you plug in without having to download software :)

@Drummaboii90 Yep macbook pros have firewire (as do many windows laptops). Firewire is a really important for audio peeps when choosing a laptop :-)

hey man, i really enjoyed this series of videos. they were very informative. I know you said you were using that soundcard you showed in the beginning, but having seen ur more recent vids, I was wondering what kind of soundcard and/or mixer you are using for all of your individual drum mics more recently? Thanks again!
