yeah wat a stupid thing to say, the fact that she went through all that pain without meds for this precious baby is alot of care in itself, obviously the baby was fine, only a paranoid person would've been asking silly questions like that, from regular check-ups she would've known the baby was fine.

i have 2 kids 16 month old son and 6 month old daughter. 15 minutes of pushing with son and i screamed my husband said but only 2 mins with daughter no screaming. wonderful experience

I could see him just fine. I have 4 kids I know that as soon as he was dried off and checked by the doc they would give him to me. They wouldnt have been just standing there if he wasnt ok.

It did for me. I wasnt even sure I was in labor until we got to the hospital and they said I was 6-7. My water broke and he was born 15 mins later.

@vaginalbirther - we are all different, how very pretentious and holier than thou are you? It depends on a lot of variables on how much pain (if any) you have! I say this as a qualified doula and someone who's birthed four times (all completely different too mind you).

There's no medals in childbirth on who is a martyr and who isn't you know! :P It's not a pissing competition.
