@Pinhead222 Yup, on September 16th they'll have it in theaters for 2 weeks if I'm correct on that. And it'll be in 3D this time. I'm not a big fan of 3D, but hey I've been seeing it in 2D my whole life. 3D might be interesting =p

@TheLionkinglove123 Update, even though I'm not a fan of most 3D films, the Lion King in 3D was AMAZING everyone! I was astonished with how well they transformed it to 3D. They did so well. They deserve a pat on the back for it. They made someone like me who hates 3D want to get a 3D tv and 3D blu ray player for animated films like this one =)

@TheLegoYoshiClan I was amazed at how great it looked in 3D. I couldn't picture in my head how Lion King would appear in 3D, but it was so cool how everything popped out at you. If you truly want to you can still see it in 3D, but you would need a 3D blu ray player along with a 3D tv and the 3D lion king disc haha.

@Paul8820 A Goofy Movie was pushed to spring 1995 in order for it to not compete with The Swan Princess. So they re-released The Lion King in order to be successful in the Holiday season

@Ardamess No. I heard it was supposed to be released Holiday 1994, but there were problems during production at Walt Disney Animation France and ended p being released in Summer 1995.
