  • I want to get this done but, I am so scared.

  • @divasal007

If you are scared then don't do it. Its not worth the anxiety. But you can go see a great Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Facial Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist and have a consult to see if that will ease your mind.

  • I wanna get this o.O

  • Watching the lips get injected makes me nauseous.

  • @Bambiixo

Then you should NOT watch videos of lip injection. No one is forcing you to watch. But if you have nothing nice or productive to say you should probably just not say anything at all and be courteous!

  • @DrNaderi they never said anything bad about. im seriously considering getting this procedure done, but i get nauseous watching this. its normal to not want to see things like this. i remember when i was in elementary school and we would have to get our vaccines and kids would actually pass out from watching the kid before.

  • @phamemonster

I totally agree with you but I will repeat the same thing: If something makes you feel nauseated then you should simply not watch it. If something hurts you, avoid it. If something bothers you, don't do it. These videos are for information, dialogue and education aimed at helping patients. These videos are not for random youtube commentary.

  • @pearlsx0

You still need to work with a therapist and perhaps in conjunction with a plastic surgeon and with the help of your family. Lip injections will not make someone feel pretty or ugly or depressed or less depressed. You need to seek help immediately for your feelings more than your actual lips. Good luck

  • Angelina Jolie-style.

  • @Hot80s

so people get pull it off and look great with Angelina's lips and others require a much more subtle augmentation.

  • Does it stay for life or it goes away

  • @bigboy6969100

It goes away and to maintain the results the injections to the lips should be repeated about twice a year. Your lips do build up their own collagen and scar tissue inside from the injections so the results may not go completely away but the filler dissolves most of the time

  • @pearlsx0 I really recommend you talk to your family, your loved ones and your primary care doctor to make sure you are not suffering from depression or worst yet, body dysmorphic disorder. People that want to improve things are fine. but people that hate a certain feature or want to make drastic changes may require counseling. Please dont rush into any surgery. Good luck

  • @pearlsx0

No reason to have such strong or harsh feelings about your lips or any body part. You can improve things as long as you are realistic but being "disgusted" is too strong a statement and not productive.

  • I have really small small small thin lips can I still get this done... after a while will I have full lips?

  • @okaymichellee

Each lip is different and unique. Thin lips can be augmented but there are limitations otherwise they may look duck like! I would have to see and examine you in my chevy chase maryland or northern virginia office to be more specific.

  • @okaymichellee

i had extremely small top lip and i got my lips done and it enhances it a bit but it looks natural and good, just have a really good doctor to do it, and they will most likely use a whole syringe

  • she looks so hot in the after

  • I feel lucky to naturally have big plump lips.

She looks gorgeous before and after, I must say.

  • She didn't even need injections at all. Now it looks too un-natural.

  • @Thegirlnextdoor42

No one "needs" injections! It is a personal taste. Just like no one "needs" a BMW or a convertible car! It is a matter of personal choice. She certainly does not look "too unnatural." She looks absolutely gorgeous. Michael jackson, Joan Rivers and some of the Hollywood stars look "too unnatural." But again your point is well taken. You prefer smaller lips and that is perfectly fine. Many patients of mine choose smaller lips and a few choose even bigger lips...

  • @DrNaderi

very true, it's all about personal taste :D i love her lips XD

  • she was glowing in the first picture, i think the lighting was extremly bad on purpose. She had some photoshopping done in the second just to sell the product.

  • @Riiajanelle

That is absurd and insulting!!! There has never been any "photoshopping" done whatsoever. Try to have some respect for others and don't accuse without knowing the facts!

The reason she looks so good is that she has had procedures that made her look this good - not photoshop! She was pretty to start with and she just got more beautiful after her procedures.

Lighting is different because the before pictures were taken in my old office but you can look past the lighting

  • @Riiajanelle the only difference to me was that there was a flash... he doesnt have to sell the product.. everyone knows what a lip injection will look like in a way so.. chill out

  • CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I WANT MY LIPS SMALLER AND I DONT WANNA USE MAKE UP OR ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM LOOK SMALLER I ACTUALLY WANT THEM SMALLER LIKE LIP INJECTION BUT SMALLER NOT BIGGER HELP PLZ

  • @xxRangersLoverxx

There are no non surgical ways to reduce lip size but surgical lip reduction may be an option for you. Please be careful as it is not a reversible procedure and can leave an unsightly scar.

  • those lips are POPPIN. she needs some skin resurfacing now tho

  • i dont see much of a difference tbh

  • @SimplesMwaah

Its a very nice subtle and natural result. Some women choose a more dramatic result using more volume (2 syringes of Juvederm or Restylane or more). I personally prefer a nice subtle result than a fake pair of lips that distract attention away from the eyes or the rest of the face. No one part of the face should distract from the other parts.

  • How long does this treatment last? Do you need to come back?

  • @itlk2angels Juvederm or Restylane injections to the lips last about 4-6 months and my patients come in to my office about twice a year for lip filler augmentation (20815, 20170)

  • ht

  • i was watching drag race the other day and Raven said that she has her lips done and it really hurt. Did it hurt

  • @mybigredlip

With dental block the lips go numb so there is no pain usually. However, most patients today dont even need or ask for a dental block because Restylane-L and Juvederm Ultra XC both have lidocaine in them. Technique is also important. Jabbing the needle in or being too rough hurts more. Finally, pain is subjective. Some people dont even flinch and others wont tolerate it without a dental block.

  • I am interested!

    how much is it?

  • @TheOneAndOnlyVampira

Lip augmentation with one syringe of Juvederm is roughly about $650.

  • i want an injection for my lines too !

  • Her lips are gorgeous would love him to do mine also lol hes perfect :-P

  • wow hes a real artist, her lips are so beautiful :P i want him to do mine too!

  • Also, can you have a bad reaction?

  • @cate2728

If you stick with Restylane or Juvederm and have a trained plastic surgeon, doctor or nurse inject you then your chances of bad reactions are lower but there are always risks.

  • I uploaded a pic onto a website that would allow me to see what changes would look like, but of course it wasn't to good...I'm wondering what is a way to see what it could look like to get this done or is it just keep going until you're happy with the size?

  • @cate2728

Hi. First of all those websites are pointless because depending on who injects you and how they inject you, the results can look quite different. Unlike imaging for a nose job, there is no good way of "seeing" how lip injections will look until you do it.

  • the "after" is fantastic. great job :) (assuming did all the procedures :))

  • can we use Juvederm with teosyal kiss?

  • @Passwordkuwait

I have never used teosyal silk as its not FDA approved nor available in the US.

  • @DrNaderi relatevily how long does Juvederm stays

  • @Passwordkuwait

    about 4-6 months

  • Dr. Naderi, great job! I have had juvederm as well as Restylane injected into my lips. My last injection was in february of last year and I am looking to go back in the next few weeks. Would you recommend Juvederm or Restylane? Also, the doctor that performed my injections never puts enough in my top lip. I would like more filler on the top, but I am afraid of having the "duck lip" look. My top lip is pretty thin, so should I stay away from putting more filler into my top lip?

  • Thank you! I like both Restylane and Juvederm. I even like Perlane or Juvederm Ultra Plus for some patients. Restylane has a more firm structure and give more lift and definition. Juvederm is smoother and softer and creates a slightly more "swollen look" which most patients like and it last a bit longer than Restylane. The volume depends on your lips and the technique. More is not always better. Without seeing you I can't say if its ok or not. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she says

  • @bluebae007 If your upper lip is very thin and small, you might think about getting a "vermilion border elevation" and that will make your upper lip 'higher' and fuller, and allow much more filler to be placed into it without a 'sausage lips' look.

  • Dr Naderi,

You said you used 3/4 of a syringe, how many cc's of Juvederm is that? You mentioned you previously used 1 cc on her in the past few months. Do you remember if her lips were still full from that previous injection? Great work by the way!

  • Thank you!

3/4 of a Juvederm syringe is about 0.6cc. Her lips still had some fullness from the previous injection. They had not gone back to "square one" but she wanted them fuller.

  • it looks much better after.

  • Thanks! :)

  • When you do your infraorbital nerve block-do you aspirate before injection? Can you send me more videos on injections techniques for lips...thank you so much.

  • With my blocks, I start to inject as soon as I penetrate the mucosa with a uniform and steady motion all the way up to the nerve foramen. This pushes vessels out of the way and I am never ever in one spot more than a fraction of a second so even a tiny intravascular injection of lidocaine will not be a problem. But if you do penetrate then fill the area in one spot excessively then you must aspirate first to make sure you are not injecting in a vessel.

  • great injection

  • Thank you very much!

  • i got my lips done, but it only last for about 3 months, is that normal?

  • Depends on where your lips started from and how large you got them and what filler you chose. Most patients need to get the injections 2-3 times per year. Some who want much fuller lips need more volume with each injection or more frequent injections. The same fillers last longer in the cheeks or other areas.

  • ouch! that looks painfull i wanted to get it but now i dont htink i wanna do it bc im scared itll hurt

  • She did not feel any pain because of the "dental block" which numbs the lips. While the dental block is not fun, it is very tolerable.

  • wow!!! she looks soo much younger that injection for the lines made such a difference !
