It makes me think of a lack of control because she is actually using her very strong stomach muscles to control her voice. I've been doing musical theatre for quite a while and have never heard anything like that before. But yes, the idea that "her lungs never quit", however, is a very powerful metaphor that I completely agree with. She. is. amazing.

I would prefer to listen to Natalie any day over Eden. Eden Espinosa really isn't that good, her voice can sound manly at times and she does scream, no doubt about that. Natalie has a clear sound and beautiful vibrado and can REALLY belt those notes! Amazing love her :)

not necessarily. one of the best singers i've ever heard has been belting since she was 11. it's a very healthy sound and she's got a wail of a voice now, at 18. her future is very bright :)
