@amuzik01 Awesome! I'm going to get the original and then this one once it comes out. I hope I'll be able to enjoy the first one despite its dated visuals and presentation. Some old games just don't hold up anymore, like Goldeneye. I heard it was awesome but I never played it back in the day, so I got it and I didn't it at all (except for the multiplayer).

The first MGS was released in 1998, whereas the firsdt DE was released in 2000. Personally i dont believe that they stole anything from each other, hence why i said "it can be argued."

Its quite obvious, the developers are working on the title since a long time. graphics may not be up on par to the likes of crysis 2 or mass effect 2 but the other aspects will most likely be among the best the gaming scene has seen.

Actually; technically it is a console port, as they started on the console version before the pc version. Both are identical in quality as far as I know. That with that what you will.

@thepowell2099 play beta build, you will see there are no "these outrageous pitched battles". You can sneak past or silent melee takedown 90+% of enemies using hacking/vents/good timing. 80% of augumentations are sneak/exploration related.

You can try to shoot your way, but its not that easy as you die from 3 shots, your health regen slowly and if enemy manage to flank you, you are dead.
