  • great great great.. but there is one bad thing you did: you only recorded no 3 out of the 6!!!

    please record the entire suite!!!!

  • WOW! Do you realise you have more view than Prokofiev playing it?

  • I've always loved that piece, well played!

  • Nice performance! This is an interesting piece. Methinks I need to listen to more Prokofiev.

  • Hi Terry, you're better than ever here! Congrats on an amazing performance. Keep on playing! All the Best, Tom

  • wonderful performance, intriguing music, beautiful light, expressive movements - thank you for this charming upload!

  • oo so lovely and good technique :X great :)

  • Теrry,at you, certainly, Russian roots !

The theme of a national Russian holiday with game on wooden spoons is heard and reproduced excellent !

    Serious and uneasy work.

    It was pleasant !

    Very much !

  • Fantastic job! A great motivation for me to practice Prokofiev (and to be happy with my digital piano)! Thanks again.

  • there are too many good pianist on youtube with electric keyboards! (and too many bad pianists with real pianos)

  • you're a great showman, without being vulgar; it's great that you don't cross the line (lang lang, anyone?)

    anyway, you play wonderfully.

  • Can you still play the 3rd movement from Piano Sonata No. 7?

    RA

  • dude u need a better piano

  • I am also using jazzgreek profile by the way...

  • Ah, well, I take the quote from the actor Jack Black in the movie School of Rock. He said to one of his young protegees while rehearsing for the big concert, "and right here, you'll take a face melting solo!" or some such. I have young daughters I get to stay hip on pop culture and it's lingo...

  • face melting. awesome.

  • yea i get it - i have been teaching myself for sometime cause i havn't found a teacher who will teach without doing grades. i can play by ear i 'm useless at the playing properly side of it

  • Oh My god!!!! i need lessons - how many years of lessons did it take to be able to play so easily?

  • After randomly surfing around YouTube, this is like a glass of ice-cold water splashed in the face, which is then discovered to be divine absinthe as it drips into the mouth.

I'm pumped! Now what to watch?

  • Wow! This is just incredible! I absolutely love this song and you play it so flawlessly with wonderful dynamics. Also, I love the way your fingers move on the keyboard. You have an amazing style.

  • Wow Great, wonderful dynamics perfect, beautiful sound........How many years you play the piano???

  • Thank you. Brilliant!!!

  • i can see this being made into a techno song

  • cool.... you meke it look easy... but.. jejeje... I don think it is.

  • your posture reminds me of richter

  • My"Bald"Head reminds me of Richter.

  • Very impressive!!!

  • just came back for an encore~~~ bravo my friend.

  • GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!!

  • Excellent!

  • su·per·la·tive (sŏŏ-pûrlæ-tīv)

    definition:

Of the highest order, quality, or degree; surpassing or superior to all others.

    Ummm, yeah, that fits.

  • Admire!

  • i've been looking for a recording of this piece,,thank God i found this,,,it was interpreted nicely...

  • I've already had my say on this posting, calling it a "spirited performance", but having seen it several times now, I'll go further--it's first-rate Prokofiev, in spite of a few imperfections. Mr. Harrington, primarily a jazz pianist from what I understand, ought to play more classical music, more Prokofiev.

  • great perfomance!. funy last picture lol. gj

  • thatSan

    aWsomEnergYouROCK.

  • i am SO happy to see your first ProkofieVidangr8!

    5/5 4sure.

  • arigato!

  • great!!this is a fantastic performance...You´re right about prokofiev using 6/8 a lot.too bad that the eight sonata isn´t on youtube.(In my opinion,it´s better than the 6 or 7)maybe someone will post it someday...Thanks a lot!

  • Beautifully facile performance. Somehow, the supple rhythms remind me of your jazz performances. No mechanical Prokofiev here! I look forward to more of your performances!

  • A spirited performance!

  • 5 stars - I liked this alot. You seemed to have got the recording just right as the sound isn't hampered by your hands hitting the keys.
