I am so glad I found this video. I'm also a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed at age 4. Im turning 18 in 2 weeks and wanted to get a medical cross tattood on my wrist (so I don't have to wear a bracelet). I was going to get it done in NY (I'm going up for my birthday) but if I could get u to do it, that'd b awesome. I live in boca nd go to mia almost every weekend. Get back at me if u could.

as i fellow diabetic i can relate to darrens stories:

i was diagnosed at 20 months old an there is no other type 1 diabetics in my family

years of being bullied in school made me hyperglycemic (too much sugar in the blood) THREE TIMES... i near went into a coma once.

after finding out tha darren was also a type one diabetic and with help from my friends and loved ones i've sorted my life out its a rough battle but i'm finding it easier every day.

@num1ubernacht Were you really just messing? Sounded pretty honest in your rant back there. And by 'idiot' ncdreams means you have no clue as to how serious a disease diabetes is. It's not about "I'm low, I need attention", It causes extreme complications. Sight damage, nerve damage, extreme pain and more. A lot of which I have experienced, and I'm only 19. It kills people. Still think we're just attention seekers?
