Wow, you two are completely syncromystic together. There's something profound about the saying "great minds think alike" It seems to me the more righteous and WILLful approach to life leads to the greater goal of nature. In a way it seems great minds tap into the Aether, or if you prefer the Akashik Score. If you practice GTD at least when you make excuses you're being productive still! Perhaps keeping a back log of brainless actions you can do when you wimp out of seizing the day :)

But all in all yeah, it's best to take responsibility. Switching your Movement, Focus and Language are great ways to get out of moment-to-moment excuse.

I was grouped when I was a kid with people of serious handicaps when tests proved I wasn't. That limited me going to college. Now the job I have is the only thing I can get because my past shadows my future accomplishments. Even though I can prove my character people believe what's on paper more. Therefore I can't succeed regardless because the context is forever working against me and now it shows in my regular life 15 years later.
