I always thought the trango3.1 seemed to have a sturdier frame than the EV3. Any comments on this thought?

Crazy Weather, but very Intense!
So the MH EV3 was the strongest!

nice eye on the gear... they ALL got pretty hammered and later, after this video, the EV3 collapsed on the guy sleeping in it.

Sorry to hear that the EV3 Collapsed also. Did MH replace the tent or poles?
I had a NF Mountain 25, the poles broke in a 50 mph winds on Hood. But, I didn't have all the "tie-downs"
secured into the snow. So too much pressure on one side of the tent caused it to collapse.
Your situation appears to be " Very Heavy Snow" and high winds.
Do you have any advice on "High altitude winds/snow" on keeping a 4 season from failing.
I hope MH replaced your TENT.
