What can I say other than seeing the D. Miss M at the red rocks way back in 1972 with the "this is my last the on stages so here goes', but the only thing is that she has done this every time that I that saw her and what the F she still is dong it every time like it is the last time she will be on stage. Love the lady so much with what she has daid and done for us.

I am always amazed as I watch her give every ounce of energy that she has in this show. And then, as if that is not enough, she does a head stand at the very end, to make sure that she has nothing left in her tank. Thanks, Bette, for years of pleasure.

@pungissunob Yeah, you would never know she had flu whilst doing this concert which turned into pneumonia, she was poorly and had to overdub the tracks when she recovered, amazing how she carried on is beyond me as she must have felt so ill.

I went to 2 of the 3 nights tapings. She first came out too fast, was in the middle of the song then grabbed her head & ran back stage, She was really sick with bronchitis but had tomake the film, came out & appologized & started over. WE WERE SCREAMING OUR HEADS OFF FOR HER!!!

I WAS THERE THAT NIGHT!!! She was sick as hell w/bronchitis but she still kicked ass! Thanks for putting this clip up. I am also the guy in The Rose who was sniffing a rose in the audience just before she sang, When a man loves a woman. I WOULD LOVE IT IF SOMEONE COULD UPLOAD IT TO YOUTUBE!

@burffle Yeah, I read that it turned into Pnuemonia and she had to sent to hospital and then had to redub some songs in the studio, what a trooper she is. she should have been in bed instead of singing, love her. xx

@burffle You and me both! I was in the audience for Divine Madness at the Pasadena Auditorium. You're right, I remeber how sick she was, but she gave it her all!

AND when she was filiming concert scenes for The Rose at the Wiltern Theatre in L.A. We all had to wear 'hippie' attire. I was given a camera with flash bulbs and instructed to pretend to take pictures of the Rose during her concert. Another great day with the Divine!
