Or you hire on with CN or CP and get paid for your training versus paying a ridiculous amount of money for the exact same training. I hope nobody is dumb enough to pay SAIT for what could be free training when you hire on with either company.
@flyingfernando you do make a point. The SAIT course is expensive and CP and CN both train you when you hire on. For someone with zero background in working with heavy equipment that wants to work for the Railway, the SAIT course gives you a foot in the door, as it guarantees you an interview with both companies.
