  • Correa tell the world that ECUADOR is the best country in the world!!!

  • mr , correa president of Ecuador, like i am ecuadorian that i am , i'm with your words a lot of ecuadorias we are with you and we hope that you go hard with this bastards and kicks the fucking asses of chevrolet's owners for what they did to my country .

  • dont fly mr.correa

  • The "so called journalist" is an excellent investigative reporter for the BBC and is there in SUPPORT of the law suit. He's there to show the world how evil Chevron is toward the people of Ecuador. He's one of the good guys.

  • Correa is great!

  • I totally support the presidents cause against corporate oil companies, the so called journalist should be sitting behind a marketing desk for chevron where he belongs. I apologize on behalf ignorant conservatives, I am ashamed my country is represented by so many of them.

  • por que no puedo ver la entrevista que le hizo "jorge Ramos" al presidente Correa?

  • brave man, hope the jakals don't kill him

  • So hold on, this white dude goes on behalf of America to this other guys home and calls it a little POS in his face... Wow, that is some piece of foreign policy, no wonder everybody loves us so much in the world these days...

  • A US court already heard the Texaco case in the US and ruled it had no jurisdiction and appointed the Ecuadorian court as the only one with jurisdiction to hear it, just so everyone knows, the US district court also said the Ecuadorian court rulings will hold.

  • This dude is only trying to help his people, there's a lot of poverty and corruption in Ecuador and he's trying to change that, sure his a socialist, but so is Rodriguez Zapatero of Spain, so are you gonna put Spain in the Axis of Evil because of a political beleive or system. We are not in the cold war anymore, you know, that ended too long ago.

Chile has a socialist government too..

  • nobody forced America to be capitalist after all, we should stop wasting our tax money on useless wars, stop the Iraqs, Colombias, Afganistans, etc and start rebuilding our international reputation and economy, and STOP fighting, America needs to be seen as a leader not as an unilateral evil power...

  • What they mean by Socialism is a regulated market economy where the priorities are as follows:

    1.- People first

    2.- Then business

The EU lives by the same principle, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, etc.., 35hr work week, free medicine, ppl first not corporate first, that should clarify the idea of new socialism. Do a check on Spain, they're socialists and a first world country, it's not soviet communism, is just a different system, any country should have the right to live anyway theywant

  • I've read part of the ecuadorian new charter and it looks similar to the one of Spain on some sorts, decentralized govt, autonomous regions(kinda like states) with their OWN legislatures and charters, an affirmative action clause(USA-like), electoral districts(USA-like) and a few other things that seem progressive, since no other latin american constitution has them. I invite anyone interested to google search for it and take a look, doesn't look like a dictator manifesto at all

  • A bicameral congress, house and senate, every political party will have to run primaries to elect their representatives before a popular election (very USA & Spain like), constitutional protection for minors, women and the environment(no wonder they're suing Texaco). This Correa dude is American educated, he has a Phd in Economy from University of Illinos @ Urbana and a Masters in Economy from a university in Belgium, I doubt few latin american presidents have those credentials.

  • Guess what? The USA landed on Mars. Phoenix plunged into the Martian atmosphere at more than 19,200kph after a 10-month, 675 million-km voyage through space. It unfurled its parachute, shed its heat shield/back shell, & fired thrusters to slow to an 8kph touchdown. Do you think that the Americans have the technology to hit Chavez, FARC, etc.? March 1st was a perfect landing too: They got alias Reyes! But they'll never assassinate fuck offs like Chavez/Correa. Their hands would stink for decades!

  • I love Correa and Chavez!
