Who the hell makes vacation plans that revolve around the presence of McDonald's? Despite what you may think, McDonald's is not the pinnacle of cuisine on the planet. In fact, some might say (and bear in mind that I LOVE McDonald's) that the island is better off specifically BECAUSE there is no McDonald's there. If that is a deal breaker then they probably don't want you visiting their island anyway.

To each his own. Depends on what you're seeking. Not all is about nude beaches & fast food restaurants. Many people are just looking to get away from it all & just enjoy a Robinson Caruso experience Gilligan Island style! Especially if you live in big cities like New York. Vieques has its beauty...& although it is not full of fast food restaurants it has restaurants that are better than the chains that have made America fat. FYI, a new resort just opened up there with a world-class restaurant.

Tidyboyk. Please do not go. It is horrible. You will just hate it. Go to Aruba. Vieques does not have nude beaches. It has no hot women on the beaches. In fact, you can be alone on the beach all day except for the wind and flying sand. The roads are nearly passable and your rental Jeep will probably die in the middle of nowhere. Not one McDonalds or Starbucks on the whole island. Just a bunch of tree huggers. Please. Go to Aruba or Jamaica.

Hmm. Yes, vacation choices should be made on what experiences you are seeking.

I've been to St. Maarten's nude beach and was disappointed. In fact, most places provide the worst rocky beach areas for nude sun bathers.

The whole idea of "getting away" is to enjoy a new places cuisine and culture.

I agree, this is probably a poor choice for you!

You must not have a boyfriend or girlfriend otherwise you would appreciate all the beutiful and romantic beaches and the sound of the ocean with-out the loud obnoxious people like you. Glad you hate it! More space for us!

I am from Puerto Rico and Vieques is an island that not many people live there or go visit there so there is no point for a McDonalds there....

If you want to go to McDonalds then just go to Puerto Rico we have over a 100 mc donnals & starbucks..

By the way you are 59 years old grampa you are too old for nude beaches ;) you would just scare the women lol.You dirty old gramps ;)

so why was there no god damn pictures of the biloluminesent part of the bay concidering that it must be the only reason people would actually go and you come up with this advert for the place.. well done for keeping the irland in the stone age..!!! was gonna go but not now

I see your point, but actually this is a personal trip video and was not intended as an advert. The bioluminescent bay is a beautiful experience for all ages.If I owned night lenses and a fancy cameras I would have done it justice as this phenomena is only visible at night. Maybe I can run this comment over to our Tourism Department and see what they come up with. Thanks for watching though and I hope you change your mind about visiting our beautiful island one day.
