i remember when tna did their knockout new years thing. it was cool. i recorded a lot of matches that night. too bad they wont do it this year. but man after they had the new years eve thing, tna was never the same again. half their knockouts r now gone

I live in the USA. It lasted 4 hours. It was 4 great hours also. The crowd was really into the action. The PPV matches were full and even included the post match replays. Didn't feel like 4 hours but it was. Maybe they are testing the water for some all Knockout specials. The women more than delivered. They really can hold their own. The entire show was amazing/ Really great job TNA and I'm proud of all the Knockouts.

I wish I was in the us in my country we don't get spike tv but I use youtube to watch tna impact and all they have is the top 10 tna ppv matches but I wanted to see the knockout tournament for the # 1 contender ,lol ,I wish I could have seen it, I just hope that some might upload it and thanks for the insight of how good that 4 hour impact was thanks.

They should've mentioned that they're showing the top PPV matches of the year for free. The knockouts shouldn't be the draw. It makes people think there's going to be four hours of chicks where half of them can't even wrestle. Marketing fail. :(

@MeddleOnline They wanted to sign her because of her looks obviously since Angelina Love was missing from the Beautiful People. They wanted to improve her wrestling skills just like Hemme but it did not work out.

Just because they wanted to hire her cause of her looks does not mean they plan on doing that with everyone else.

TNA was put in a very hard situation when Angelina left since she was one of the most popular talents in the company. They thought Lacey would have worked as a replacement

How are they portraying them as Divas? They still put on great matches with Hamada, Kong, Sarita, Tara, etc.

Just because they all them "Sexiest" does not mean they are "Divas". The Mud Wrestling Match was something that was used to put over Kevin Nash being in charge of Impact (kayfabe). It's not a big deal.

What is so wrong with Beautiful Woman that can wrestle? They still have a better Division than WWE.

You know nothing about the viewing audience. This will get terrible ratings, guaranteed. The only reason they're doing this is because nobody is going to be watching on New Years Eve anyway. It's like when they do marathons of crappy shows on Christmas Day.

I can't for the life of me understand why they don't market the X Division like they do the Knockouts.

they only did this because people are to busy on Christmas Eve, think about it, some are traveling, some are having Christmas eve events and others are doing last minute prep for Christmas as in getting gifts and dinner ready. so Spike TV didn't fail, they did the right thing regrading ratings. had Impact! been on the regular time slot this week, the ratings would be worse than normal due to it being Christmas Eve. you wonder why TV shows stop showing new episodes during December, that's why.

Four Hours Off Beautiful Women Wrestling?

Well you can't deny the fact that they are targeting the male audience with this episode. I have mixed feelings about the Knockouts. They bring some of the highest ratings for Impact, they are hot AND they can ACTUALLY wrestle(except for Lacey). However, I am not a fan of women's wrestling. I am not sexiest, I just do not think that they are as entertaining wrestling wise. I do not think they should have a show to themselves, one this long at least.

relax, it will be half of Impact! that will be the Knockouts, the rest will be best of 2009 as in they will show some of the best matches this year some from PPVs and others from Impact!. so there will be men wrestling, just it will be stuff you have seen (unless you didn't see the PPV matches).
