The Motorola Droid is not an upgraded G1. You might be referrin to the Android OS as the Droid has a more upgraded OS than the G1. As for comparin the two, they're not even playin on the same ballpark when it comes to features and capabilities

I paid 299 with 100 mail in rebate.. Not laggy at all pigballs. Had the droid for bout 2 weeks and by far a damn good phone. AT&T cant touch the service area of Verizon I drive an 18 wheeler up and down the east coast and hardly any problems with Verizon as compared to always losing signal with AT&T. All the cooments Ive seen seem like kids complaining and putting the droid down since they cant afford it.. Droid is a damn good phone

If I want DVD quality videos I'll use a camera that was made to shoot DVD quality videos. Do you ever come across something that you quickly want video of and afterwards you wish you could have done it at DVD quaility? Are you going to use all 10,000 apps that they offer on this phone? The number means more options available. And three whole customizable screens? Wow. That's amazing. This is just Motorola's feeble attempt at a wannabe product. It will never be as good as the iPhone.
If this phone didnt have a physical keyboard, it would be the best. I like the screen size. A little bigger than HTC Hero, which I currently own.
I had the iPhone for 5 days and music playback was awesome, then I went to an sprint store to pay my cousin's bill and I saw HTC Hero, i fell in love with this phone. =] Now I can manage my website and play the games my website contains (Flash games). CONTND..

If I want DVD quality videos I'll use a camera that was made to shoot DVD quality videos. Do you ever come across something that you quickly want video of and afterwards you wish you could have done it at DVD quaility? Are you going to use all 10,000 apps that they offer on this phone? The number means more options available. And three whole customizable screens? Wow. That's amazing. This is just Motorola's feeble attempt at a wannabe product. It will never be as good as the iPhone.

I say, this phone is not for everyone.
Only for HEAVY users such as myself. =]
If this phone didnt have a physical keyboard, it would be the best. I like the screen size. A little bigger than HTC Hero, which I currently own.
I had the iPhone for 5 days and music playback was awesome, then I went to an sprint store to pay my cousin's bill and I saw HTC Hero, i fell in love with this phone. =] Now I can manage my website and play the games my website contains (Flash games). CONTND..

iPhone owners are just afraid of the fact that Verizon has come out with a better phone and they wont be able to have one. They have already bragged to everyone how they have the best phone and now that isn't true. So, if they try to switch to the Droid everyone will wonder why you no longer want an iPhone.

Um know it isnt. Ive had the G1 (Android 1.0) and this phone is ALOT better. There are more apps out for this phone then before and I just got mine today. IT SWEET!

LOL I think its funny how the iPhone has been out for several years and other companies are still struggling to even get close. Yes, this phone may have a few features that the iPhone doesn't, but those features can easily be added by jailbreaking the iPhone. This thing is a joke...not even close.

Iphone's apps are limited and outdated, standing no chance against android's most basic widgets. Its camera needs no mention as its rendered useless in a poorly lit room, and while the browser is the one good thing it has its also the ONLY.
Your argument comes down to... wait a second, you don't actually have one! So guess what. Droid has the same fucking digital keyboard PLUS the slimmest physical QWERTY, real time notifications and a GPS that actually tells you where the fuck you are.

iphone apps are constantly updated and developers are constantly coming out with new ones. The GPS on the iPhone (if you have updated it) actually does tell you where you are. You seem to be good at watching the droid commercial. I would never buy a cellphone because of its camera. And the only thing worse then a flash photo is a cellphone flash photo. Buy a fucking digital camera. And i don't have an argument? Your only argument is that popular things suck.. Thats pretty immature, grow up!
