To the moronic teenagers that dont understand how it works.

It makes a WRAPPED image of the 360 surroundings, and projects it directly to the lens. The software then simply does the unwrapping, and THEN the rotation of the video is done in the final rendered 360 image. It is the same principal as texture mapping in 3D graphics, only via photographic hardware. The lens does not need a battery because it doesnt need one. The process is purely "bare metal". Now go back to your moms basement

Pretty clever but as you are simultaneously recording the 360 degrees I imagine you are fairly heftily reducing the image quality of the small area you are actively viewing. There's also the distortion due to the mirror however I think this is pretty awesome.
