See I don't get it. Why would a presidential motorcade consist of 25-40 cars is beyond me. That's a waste of taxpayer money right there.
If Obama is truly concerned about his own security, then he should stay in the White House and not stray out until it's really necessary.
A presidential motorcade will only disrupt people's daily lives because of road closures and will make the commute much worse, especially in cities where traffic congestion is an everyday occurrence, like Los Angeles..
@shikat2371 All the heads of State do the same, Presidents and VPs. Especially since we have been under attack and at war with threat of domestic or international terrorism. Yes seems unreasonable given what people go through right now but maybe necessary to ensure there is no further destabilizing incident that could hurt our society and economy more. @w1n6ed83a5t You assume that the purpose of it is as a decoy. The primary purpose is as a backup vehicle. In the event that there are mechanical problems they have another secure vehicle for him. Remember that security is taken care of well in advance when the Pres. travels. I assure you they are not concerned that someone will compromise the security of the Limo en route.
