  • I Love Kraut my wife is going to make some soon,I had to laugh thinking that was a couple hunks of butter on the plate for digestion...lol

  • Good point about taking awhile to get the hang of it. I used to make yogurt for business purposes. It took me awhile to get the hang of it because so many subtle changes could influence the outcome but now I am a pro. =))

Thanks for encouraging people to get self-sufficient. Sooooo important.

I have vids teaching people to wean themselves off of pharmaceuticals. Much easier than most realize. Life is Wonderful.

  • Really enjoy your videos. We should all be experimenting with alternative living because the system as is doesn't work and just exploits everything. It's just a business not designed to meet the needs of the people or environment but only take advantage of them.

  • that's awesome! I love sauerkraut but I hadn't ever thought about how it can be made. That's fascinating. I'll need to get going on some of my own projects now. This is a new kind of fermentation for me but I have a passion for this sort of thing myself.

  • That looks delicious. Are you listening to Django Reinhardt in the background? Another +1 for you if so. :)

  • It is delicious, I still have loads of it and yes, I am listening to Django.. :)

  • Please watch The Constitution Class by Michael Badanrik online free; you will LOVE it!

  • Hey, do you have a link?

  • archive org/details/Michael_Badnarik

Constitution Preservation org (official website without viewing)

  • cool. Never heard of this before. I know they say to eat yogurt because the friendlies will kill off the bad ones. Obama is bad bacteria. We need a good dose of alex jones bacteria...lol

  • is that crunching sound when she eats living organisums dieing!!!

  • Funny you say this because I suspected that the neocons(newer liberals) went into Iraq with control of the Middle East on their minds. Deserts may have oil but without water no region can survive. Iraq is the hub of fresh water in that region and because of impending peak oil will eventually be the richest economy on the planet. Control of water resources has always been more important than controlling oil production. Look at California's past for historical precedence.

  • Personally, I still love to serve the needs of others. I just don't do it for gold and silver. I am far less dependent of non-essential services and goods and am as a result much less fearful. When you know how to create the important kind of wealth life becomes abundantly more peaceful.

Control is most important to gold accumulators; but if you can create wealth (spiritual as well as material) you can always be independent.

Sauerkraut: preserving and fermenting wealth-- alchemy.

  • You pretty, wanna kiss you :)

  • Thanks Green, I do think that the govt and other forces are behind what is happening to the economy.. Funny about Obama's ties with Fanny Mae and how he was on the committee that required the subprime mortgage loans to consist of half of Fannies loans.. Makes you wonder? Huh! Anyways, if you know it is being manipulated, it is kinda easier to deal with I think personally.

  • "Those who control the gold control production". A way out is to learn alchemy and accumulate your own spiritual resources. The obvious are: gardening, cooking, art, music, woodworking(my hobby and profession).

The worldly types can only control you if you become too dependent on their manipulated and controlled system. This doesn't mean rejecting everything. This means finding your own potentials and abilities to create richness and value in the wealth you already have.

  • Good job, this is the first time i've seen pure green kraut. I want to be a "very well oiled digestive machine", hehe.

  • Missing your creativity, missy.

I've been watching many videos geared towards technocracy and I compare that world to your videos. You are a creative human being bringing real human joys back to us. Technology can free us if we learn to free ourselves by personally controlling technology and providing a rich life of creative endeavors, like making sauerkraut, gardening, and art.

Thanks, hoping to see more soon.

  • THanks Carpenter.. I have run out of ideas lately, but spring is coming soon and my fingers are itching, Im not even joking they are ready to start doing something, anything in the dirt so hopefully I can make some videos about that? Well see...

  • Your desire to grow food and share knowledge is a rare and beautiful human trait in the greater world, but is your path to abundant wealth. Others want things they can hoard and control; this leaves them empty in the end because their desires are to accumulate more in a system of scarcity.

Yours is abundant; theirs is limited. They engineer and manipulate; you create and share. Do you see what I am getting at? Of course YOU do. This is why your view count is low. You don't push gold.

  • This is why we are here in this life: To prepare and experience "sauerkraut". Lol!! And Albert Einstein had it sitting right under his nose all those years......

  • Maybe a silly post, but we must individually contemplate what kind of world we are willing to put out energy and passion towards. This is what "sauerkraut" means to me: what am I willing to prepare for and preserve?

A philosophical question, along with the others, but this is pointing directly at the issue:

    "Human potential experienced"

  • I wish I had the facillites to do this.

I buy Sauerkraut in jar from Eden.

    Quick receipe:

Steam califlower and Sauerkraut. That's it.

  • Looks good! Did you make enough for all of your viewers?

  • Me too, that is why I'm eating some spaghetti right now. Yum.

  • Igotfins, I actually LOVE Kim Chi. That is my next big project to do, make it myself, that is a bit trickier because they include fish and shrimp in that, so there is added risk, but the benefits are worth giving it a try. Fermented foods offer lots of beneficial contributions to health, but I'm sure you know already. You can't force it, right? I like the stuff.. :)

  • put some silver on that kill the bacteria!

  • No way, that is the good stuff!

  • there are a lot of things that i will do in the name of health, but if i can't get it past my nose, it ain't goin in my mouth... yuck.

but thanks for sharing,i know others will really appreciate it, i appreciate the hard work, but not for sourkrout...lol

  • WHAT?! You don't like sauerkraut??? This is unbelievable! I just can't wrap my head around it. LoL, it is an acquired taste and if you didn't grow up around it like I did, you might not be so interested in it..

  • I started a garden last year and my mom sent me a 23 qt canner for christmas so I cant wait to use it. Its amazing how much you can save by growing and making your own food. Oh and its fun too.

  • I haven't canned yet, I want to get a pressure canner, so I can do meat and low acid foods too! Then I can preserve almost anything I want, imagine that?

  • Oh, Make sure you get one with a good pressure gauge on it. Im just starting out myself but the one I had before didnt have one and I messed it up. The gauge really helps when your trying to go by instructions. Good luck. I sure wish I knew people around me that were into this stuff like you. It would be a lot easier and we could teach each other things. I just gotta wait for more people to wise up I guess. Sorry for the long reply. lol.

  • How do you know all this stuff?

  • How Do I know? I have done research. LOL, my idea of fun is going to the book store or library, or surfing youtube, so maybe it is because of that? :) Also by experimenting with stuff. Either way I'm glad to be able to share what I know with you!

  • Oh ya, and I was a biology major for a while in college, had to take Microbiology!!

  • Oh nice, Did you get your Degree. I have a Degree in Computer Networking and almost finsished a Degree in Architecture. I will never go back to school unless they make it free or very affordable.

  • Well, I took this semester off because of what I saw coming, and I don't see myself going back unless I can afford it. I'm only a year away from a degree, if TSHTF doesn't happen in the next year, I will go back in the fall and pay out of pocket, if SHTF starts, then, you know what my priorities are and it doesn't involve getting a piece of paper. Right now I just think it is important to learn some "real" skills that can help me and others in SHTF scenario, you know what I mean?

  • Ya, I know what you mean. It took me 2 years after college to find a job. And then I had to intern for 4 months and finally they hired me. Only to lay me off in november. Im thinking college degrees are worthless. The sad part is the people that already had jobs there, none of them had any college at all. I wouldnt mind taking some cooking and/or survival classes though.

  • Thats one thing I hate to do is read books. I just dont have the patience for it. Though I love to absorb knowledge. Thats why youtube is a great medium.

  • >> Thats one thing I hate to do is read books.

I couldn't help notice that you said that and you work in the computer field. That could be why you are not working now.

I work in the field and there is no way that I could keep a step above everyone else without reading a least a hour a day of computer books. The information changes so fast in this field that you have to keep studying constantly. I would recommend to beging reading everyday. Also, get some certifications (microsoft, cisco).

  • No, I have all my certifications and I do read my tech books I just dont enjoy it. I was laid off because of the economy. They even told me that. They had to get rid of a few people. That was kind of rude of you to say that to me. I did nothing to you and now you try and say im not good at my job when you dont even know me. WTF. Please dont speak to me anymore if you dont have anything positive to say.

  • >> I do read my tech books I just dont enjoy it . .

You just answered you own question.

  • If your just going to be an idiot stop talking to me. Why does youtube have so many loosers like you that have to try to put others down ( when they have clearly no idea what their talking about) in order to make them selves feel good. You just look stupid in the process man. Please move out of your mothers basement and get a life. PLEASE... And stop talking to me, you will only hurt yourself.

  • Go eat some Sauerkraut and chill out.

    Damn rednecks, lol.

  • I like Sauerkraut and I am a redneck. As I am a country boy. Please just leave me alone because you need help. I will pray for you. you need it man. I hope some day you learn how to respect other people and perhaps grow up a bit.

  • Garynull, if you loose your job, I'm afriad your ms certs will be useless, they're dime a dozen. The only safe jobs if things get real bad will be supply industry (food, power etc).

  • I agree those certs (I have 3 of them in Programming, Networking, and Databases) are useless in general, but they always got me the interview. I also have a BS in comp.

I'm looking to start my own thing. I'm sick of working for these companies and all the bullshit. I've built a few e-commerce website that are doing very well and I think staying on the web is where it's at. I have a bunch of ideas I'm throwing around and I can do all the progamming/designin/etc.

  • I made that move 10 years ago and just in the last four - six months experienced loss in profits of gt 70% (over 90% of my software sales are from the US and that's where my downturn is happening). Think twice about starting a software business at this time, its only going to get worse.

  • Creative potentials over Empire status. What do people really need?

America is NOT a poor country, but the government may be bankrupt, as well in regards to ethics and morals. People want a change. What will you provide in terms of service and/or goods? What do you want from your local economy? What are you able to give? What can YOU do for your community?

I don't need more work or more money; I am abundant in the human gifts and the willingness to create wealth. What do you need?

    cc

  • carefulcarpenter, I don't have a lot of respect for today's western society, and don't want to wear their mistakes. I aim to minimize reliance on the community and live outside its influence as much as possible.

  • My questions are hypothetical and not directed toward you at all. I wanted to make that clear. Western values may have to give way to Eastern values in the future-- a numbers game, really. We spent, borrowed, and spent; now we will have to save, change, and save some more.

Imagine this scenario : Chinese citizens moving in vast numbers to a land where they own major assets, and are legal aliens-- truly an alien invasion.

  • That looks yummy...

  • Thanks for posting these. I'm going to try all of these especially red sauerkraut. Gotta start the cabbage seed flats... mmmm!

  • Exciting! You are already starting your seeds? Man, I had better get with the program, I need to designate an area in the house for this, seed starting business, because I can get a bit carried away.. LOL, hopefully the b/f will understand.. The purple cabbage turned into a beautiful fushia color, I was thinking, how pretty it was before I ate it!!! Hahaha

  • That stuff looks like the good stuff we ate in Germany! Yummy!

  • You sure are an interesting girl. You are cool and hot. Please tell us more about you.

  • Thanks Markukkerd, I had a bad hair day which is why I wore the hat, but thanks for the compliment! :)

  • this is ur best video yet! THX

  • So my grandparents were wonderful gardeners and canners. My mother feed us on many of the home-canned goods from them. They also shared with neighbors. There's something festive about harvest and canning days.

Today I bought local canned honey and cider vinegar with Mother; I absolutely love it in my tea. I hope to see the digestive benefits in the near future. Next challenge will be sauer kraut.

  • I will tell you it is a challenge worth having! Glad to hear about the apple cider, you can use it as a preservative too, although it does taste like apples! LOL, My grandparents make pickles, and peach preserves, because they have a peach tree! They live in a condo too, how funny is that, a small concrete porch with a huge peach tree covering it. My grandfather is the one who got me started gardening at a young age, he had a greenhouse in Poland, my Great Grandfather was a horticulturist.

  • You have discovered some wisdom that your great grandparents knew about dependency. The means for production has been slowly taken away from the population and will soon be placed under control of the state. WE are all a bit poorer when we require subsidy and leadership. Otherwise we would not have fallen into a belief system where the few prosper and the mass owes the debt.

My grandparents knew better than to get into debt to the bankers. So did Jesse James mother.

  • I agree, I have fallen for it, but I've been working on deprogramming myself from the deception I have been taught as fact my whole life. Takes some effort!

  • Thats great. I love this stuff. Keep up the good work. Peace nice music by the way

  • Thanks radicaldan! It is Django Reinhardt, the music.

  • Yup!
