It makes me sad that the press started making fun of Michael when he talked of his music coming from heaven. I remember one tabloid asked, "Did MJ's song 'Billie Jean' come from God"? .. or something to that extent. No one understood Michael .. as least not the media, and they didn't try to either.

man fuck what others have to say. bad was one of his best, creative songs he's ever done and it wasn't just pop. thriller was more pop than bad. not to mention he wrote damn near all his songs, yet his album sucked? everyone has an opinion but michael really stepped it up with bad when it came to creativity, songwriting, vocals, etc. can no album be compared to bad. i feel it's the underdog next to off the wall and thriller.

The proper and accurate word to use for describing Michael when he sings or performs is...Intense!No one is as intense as HE is for sure!Another is Magical or Passionate.Others just can't capture those very special feelings at all!For me it's always been obvious who truly Rules the entertainment industry!He does everything with a lot of attitude.He obviously knows He's the Best and the Biggest but he wont brag about it unnecessarily to people.He knows that His position is totally Unquestionable.

@zulukline Yeah ok, maybe "sucked" is a bit strong. There was a couple of great tracks on the album. But, sadly, my enduring memory of its release is the title track, and that makes me cringe now as much as it did at the time. As for HIStory, "You Are Not Alone" is still a lovely track, but basically after BAD I tuned out.

I just basically forgot about Michael n wen he died, i was like so he's a person. People will cry wen every1 dies so what. He was so beautiful. I never knew how lonely he was back then (I was only like 5 years old in 89 lol). If I was old enough at the time, I would have loved to be his friend. He would not have to worry about being lonely with me around. You can usually tell when someone is gay (Not always) but if a guy is gay, you can see it in his walk, the way he sits, etc. Also I don't believe he was bc when you do hear him speak about women, like Brooke Shields, he said when they first met and she asked him to dance, he was so happy that night, he was up in his room spinning, dancing and singing.
