those videos is greats. i have one question to ask you: I'll be grateful if you answer to me. yesterday i bought -AKAI PROFESSIONAL EWI USB. I installed this akai software from cd.to my desktop pc then the install program was successfully. But the akai ewi doesn't work.when i blow it doesnt work. i want to know why??? do i need to have any sound cart or somekind or modul that ewi would work??
if i need somekind soundcart or modul, can you tell me what kind of modul or cart i need.

City Audio Inc. in NY has this for $599 i just bought one the other day ..they are official dealers for almost everything... 212-996-0690 if u wanna give them a call ..they r pretty good

Just bought one from Sam Ash for $600. Everything is great on the unit, amazing what you can do without any computer or any external effects processing as this is all inside the EWI. The only downside is that Akai does not supply an AC adapter or means of connecting to midi or computer. I will end up having to spend another $100 on some of these things to fully utilize the instrument.

there is an ewi usb model that connects to a computer, and comes with tone generator software with preprogrammed sounds(which is a very good program, IMO) and it is only $299
