@shogo7g not much aside from a good computer goes into that quality lol. the only thing that makes it different is an extended render time in sony vegas
@darklurker08 I've seen people make some very nice 720p videos with just an i5 processor. However, 1080p can get a bit tricky without a mid to high end i7 processor. Vegas doesn't like the codec that most video capture software programs use (like mine) so it's only an option for post-processing, and VERY hard to use.
There are a few other tips and tricks, mostly knowing what codecs and settings that youtube likes and how to streamline your own system for video capture, and time!
@shogo7g if this is the case, i seem to have gotten lucky with some of my 1080 videos. 1080p doesnt seem to be an issue at all for me. although because my video card is out of date i can no longer record at viable fps with full screen settings on fraps running 1920x1080, so i have to run at half size and the quality of the video doesnt end up looking as good as intended. eh im losing the subject
@darklurker08 You probably were lucky. When I was running an i7-920 (2.66ghz quad core), I couldn't get 1080p audio and video to sync to save my life. You can even see it in some of my earliest 1080p videos. I had to use 720p.
When I upgraded to my current i7-970 (3.2ghz, 6 core), the sync problem went away. The sync problem occurred in the initial processing, as Fraps synced it just fine.
Try stepping your rez down to 1280x720, at least you can still get 720p that way.
Hmmm...who could the mysterious third party be? Doctor Destroyer? Mechanon? Some new villain? The suspense is killing me! Darn it, why do cliffhangers have to last so long?!?!
@VibraniumProductions Hopefully the next episode will be out on time friday. You got to this in before I finished the annotation, this video took 7 hours to go live, and the 1080p processing isn't even done yet. Youtube is SLOW....
Interesting twist on the movie 'The Thing'.

@axjetvv34 Thanks, you wouldn't believe what goes into getting that level of quality, but the end result is worth the effort, IMHO.

@shogo7g
Yeah, that's uploading for you. The higher the quality, the slower everything goes.

@VibraniumProductions it'd be interesting if Mechanon was behind all this
