So the Chozo were basically bird-like aliens,(and if I remember from Prime 1 right), were waiting for Samus to come to them? Wow, talk about real-time prophicizing, wonder if it ever freaked her out a little.

Actually, the Chozo from Zebes adopted Samus and took her in, giving her the normal Power Suit and whatnot. The Chozo from Tallov IV were the ones who prophesied that Samus would come and defeat Metroid Prime.

@ShadowMario3 So, she was raised on Zebes, while on Tallon IV, she was prophesised to go to there aid. What makes me wonder...is why did the Chozo adopt Samus, yeah, i've played a lot of the Metroid games, just never completely understood why they took her in?

@Shu512 manga explains just as shadowmario says her family and colony were completly wiped out by ridley and space pirates and the chozo envoy that was visiting her colony Called OLD BIRD befriended her after her family died old bird adopted her took her to zebes and they genetically modified her with Chozo DNA to be able to use her power suit and survive in zebes atmossphere but she was adopted to destroy metroids if they became a threat

It IS a Chozo Suit though, and this is the legendary one. But yes, it's the Fully Powered Suit.

Probably because I'm playing on Hard Mode, where each Energy Tanks only adds half an Energy Tank instead of the usual full.

Reasons to buy consoles: They are cool Play the games with highest settings You can push more than 3 buttons Joysticks. 2+ Players (Sega, Wii, etc) Pcs / emulators: Some emulators can be really shit. Games are found on the internet (I mean, not the ones you burn into a disc to be used in your playstation). Cheats. You can change the controls settings. Game performance deppends on computer's hardware. Can be upgraded easily. Mouse look.
