Well not just Sasha. Emily Hughes got more coverage than Kimmie because cause of her situation...which really is too good to pass up. The younger sister of the reining gold medalist getting to compete after Kwan withdrew...and Kwan wouldn't have even been there had Sarah Hughes not won.
Anyways, what really hurt Kimmie was not landing the two 3-3's that she had in her LP.

It's such a pity Sasha screwed up her long programs in Salt Lake City and in Torino. She was the best skater in Italy and she gave the gold away. The Japanese skater had none of Sahsa's artistry or elegance.
jesus christ. these people (dick button and company) are supposed to be the authority on figure skating, and they can't even get sasha's history right. she was in the 2002 Olympics(placed 4th)--THAT was her first Olympics, not the 2006 ones(seen here).
