mopar guys are funny. sure they kicked as in street stock back in the day. due to the fact that mopar made the cars far from street legal and dangerous. but as far as real world drag racing goes. they cant get out of their own way. be honest. the only good thing mopar ever did was purchase jeep.
typical vega...seems like they all leave bouncing around like that. old man had a ladder bar 10'' tire vega that left exactly like that on the street.
DID HOT heat the slicks up enough ! love the mopar in the vega ! had a 73 vega wagon i put a 302 Ford motor in! a pure stock 302 , 2 barrel ran 14.7 .

it didn't hook that bad for a shitty street, just got a little sideways, it sounds pretty mean

any of you fags wanna fuckin race jus let me know!

loose the slicks on the street, as you know they don't hook very well.

I have a cure for your problem. put a chevy motor in it and it will go fast. lose the ship anchor. 440 ha. you make me laugh silly
IAMNOS4A2 3 years ago
Waste of a motor, at least you don't have to tip the 440 over a garbage bin to get some power outa them unlike a Chevy motor.

I dont think the tires are that old. The car is just set up for the strip, not the street. It was about 105 degrees outside in this video though.
WingedExpress65 3 years ago
most of the time you can hook up better on the street than at the strip...most race tracks dont prep the track well.

Old tires?? Did they get them hot enough? Greasy road? hot tar comes to the surface. Ever scale the car? Thank-you for the cool video!
