By all accounts,Bill WAS a jerk on Star Trek TOS,He would lobby to steal LN's best lines and object to  scene stealing moments for the other cast members and insist they be cut. He would stay in his trailer and not socialize.He also hurt James Doohan by putting in that 'back of my hand scene 'in the movie.But later on,esp after Nichelle Nicols' book which put him in a bad light,he realised what a schmuck he was and lightened up.They all get on well now,so good for him in showing u can change.
