Brett's singing isn't bad, but an Elvis Costelloesque voice just doesn't lend heavily towards Bad Religion's sound. Somehow, Graffin's husky folk gruff managed to make the band what it is today. I'm glad that the two could mend their differences, because BR is a two headed songwriting monster, a system of checks and balances, and is "incomplete" without both Brett and Greg.
i have this 7" somewhere.. brett's singing improved a lot after this time.
it's odd, because if you can ever get your hands on any bootlegs of 1992 or 1993 concerts where they play generator, the harmonies are pretty flawless. it takes a sec to realize that greg isn't singing the higher part anymore.
just imagine if in your description of the video you would have said "this is my cover of the song", you would have received just bad comments and ratings haha, or am i wrong?. not saying that brett is bad, but compared with greg..
I definitely prefer "a hummingbird in darkness", "turbines in silence", and "a baby on the floor".

there were no "differences" to mend, brett had to drop out to run epitaph cause offspring and rancid were blowin em up big time
