i just read who played the 95 game how did tommie frazier win mvp when brook played most of the 95 season tommie came in at the last quarter By that time the game was won and NeBraska give tommie the credit i guess tommie was the favorite fucking typical nebrsaka
All great plays, but I just have to put Tommie Frazier's TD run against Florida in the Fiesta Bowl as #1. He hits a wall of defenders, and THEY all bounce off of him! Awesome!
@madhazzer why did you look this up then if your a texas fan. you must have a reason unless you like to troll. nebraska may not be as good as texas now but we have one of the most prestigious programs in college football
All you people disappointed in the huskers because of the end of the seaseon GET OVER IT!!!!!! we have taylor and rex back next year. 2011 Big Ten Champs: Nebraska Cornhuskers! GO BIG RED!!!!
InbRED freaks. Good riddance...NE is and always has been an embarrassment to the Big XII conference. They do, however, excel in one area of life...making sweet love to their closest relatives. Your fuckin coward of a coach. Guy always stands sideways when he's chewing out some kid...from getting his ass beat when younger. MIZZOU MIZZOU MIZZOU
@Skers66 I believe they still can do that as long as they stay behind the line of scrimmage. there is no rule as to who can throw it. they could legally hand it off 5 times before throwing it as long as none of those passes were forward passes
@Skers66 It's a perfectly legal play on any level of football. A team is allowed only one forward pass (thrown from behind the line of scrimmage) per play but can hand off or lateral the ball (backward) as many times as it wants on any given play.
@Skers66 It is not even a rule in the pros i dont think you are aloud to pitch or hand it off as long as its behind the line u can throw it like think of the flea flicker thats 2 handoffs
@joeu5431 yes it is just a modified flea flicker, totally legal play then and now. as long as the handoff wasn't forward (which it wasn't) it is ok. only 1 forward pass per play. actually as i recall the sooners ran the same play earlier in the game but didnt execute it as well.
@joeu5431 yes it is just a modified flea flicker, totally legal play then and now. as long as the handoff wasn't forward (which it wasn't) it is ok. only 1 forward pass per play. actually as i recall the sooners ran the same play earlier in the game but didnt execute it as well.
@joeu5431 Yeah dude, you can hand it off and throw it, as long as the person you hand it off to is behind the line of scrimmage, and the player who pitched it is behind the line when he did it as well.
@joeu5431 actually it's perfectly legal. the two handoffs on the double reverse were both behind the line of scrimmage, therefore the pass was legal. had the ball crossed the line of scrimmage first, then it would be an illegal forward pass and the huskers would have been penalized.
@billjoe88 Always lose? Is that why Nebraska has 5 national championships, and an overall record of 840 wins and 342 losses? Get your facts straight kid.
Hows that Texas? I guess were a nobody who is dissed who is going to join a congerence who has been dissed too. Now we can go to new heights together baby!. Thanks for the life line big 10. It WAS needed. we won't let you down . 20-4 against the sec. use that as much as you want. especially 62-24 against Florida or 33-6 against Bear Bryant. We are one now!
@MrBuckeyeFan Yeah no kidding. I'm glad to leave the Big 12, everyone in that conference just takes it in the ass from texas, not just in sports but Texas STEALS all the money, I'm not kidding. Oh well. Also I heard everyone in the Big 10 hates Michigan, is that true? if so I'm going to enjoy that, oh and putting Iowa in their place. I think we're going to be rivals with them, I'll call the match-up "FARMAGEDDON"
My name is Kevin VanDenPlas I played football for 6 years and last year I was banned from football for jumping over the nose guard and sacking the QB I broke his arm and thats how I got banned Send me some account messages I want to get a peticiane started so I can get back on the team.
The Blackshirts started with Bob Devaney, he needed the Defense to wear different jerseys. The assistant coach, Mike Corgan was often known for his frugality, he searched for bargains. His purchase of the black jerseys was "an accident of availability" George Kelly (Defensive coach) "I told Mike the reason they had black ones is because they didn't sell" George Kelly. It then became a tradition and at practice Defensive line can wear and be awarded Black shirts but they can also be taken away.
when Bob Devaney was the coach they needed different color jerseys for the defense...the assistant coach or someone went to a local store that had only black Jerseys left in stock......so he said well take them...ever since they only give them out in practice to the starters or who earns them....but really it opposing offenses worst nightmare!...aka Nebraska's Defense! GBR

No it didnt that run occured at the end of the third quarter when the game was already WELL in hand, not that it takes anything away from it Like I said they are both great plays, throw Jets run in there and you have 3 of the greatest plays in college football history not just Husker history...
what are you talking about???...I'm refering to Johnny 'the Jet's' punt return, not Tommie Frazier's run...read the date. Between Tommie and Eric, TF's run was more significant, it put the nail in Fla's coffin, to me.

There was a long time where even the thought of not being at least competing for a national title was total insanity. To go from that to some garbage team overnight was something noone coulda remotely seen coming. And quite frankly the only reason half these teams like texas tech, or missouri are even considered is because we stopped being there to utterly destroy em.
one thing that really killed nebraska and may have been a big part of their downfall was firing solich but not having a good replacement in mind. callahan ended nebraska football and we can only hope pelini can keep us consistently in the top 25

@Bearses He means we've had the best teams ever. and we have have you seen our National Championship teams? 95' is the greatest team in College Football. Watch the video "Kirk Herbstreit is a whiny bitch" not only does it reinforce my hatred in Kirk Herbstreit but it also shows the the nation knows we're the best.

We ask for a chance that's fair
A chance to equal our stride,
A chance to do or dare
If we should win, let it be by the code,
Faith and Honor held high
If we should lose, we'll stand by the road,
And cheer as the winners go by
Day by Day, we get better and better!

This is a great video. This is why Nebraska is the best team ever. Can anyone tell me what music is playing in the background?

Bearses 1 year ago
@Bearses He means we've had the best teams ever. and we have have you seen our National Championship teams? 95' is the greatest team in College Football. Watch the video "Kirk Herbstreit is a whiny bitch" not only does it reinforce my hatred in Kirk Herbstreit but it also shows the the nation knows we're the best.
