  • 7.19 - why is the word 'exit' written on the OUTSIDE of the helicopter's door?! lol

  • @Grimrippa1 For an emergency rescue.

  • @jacksawild an emergency rescue wouldn't see a door from the outside for what it is? Anyway, then it should say entrance not exit lol

  • @Grimrippa1 This isn't a debate. That IS why it is written on the outside.

  • @jacksawild lighten up a bit mate... and take your finger out of your ar$e

  • @Grimrippa1 why would it be written at all? i mean, how big is a helicopter and how hard is it to identify a door?

  • the game

  • Mancetter is no where near Birmingham!

  • Reg: All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

    Attendee: Brought peace?

Reg: Oh, peace - shut up!

  • What happened to the legion that didn't show up ? Decimation?

  • @dardo1201 probably...

  • So, the celts burned down everything they themselves built as slaves and were ready to go back to their old ways without learning anything from the romans, what a bunch of smart people.

  • @InnarVen yeah, but they had had a society that worked just fine for years before the romans got there. and maybe they would have used the knowledge they had gained from the romans. but, at least with the romans gone, they would have been in charge of what happened on THEIR land.

  • Who knows how history would be had Boudica not fallen for the trap.

  • I reckon if the Britons were able to retake all their land, Rome would no doubt send legion after legion in order to retake the place. More from pride and the need to show the world they were able to control and defeat any people.

  • Many of the Roman soldiers were germanic too.

  • Not at this time, that wasn't until 300 years later

  • It is true, the ancient Britons were not germanic.

    The Anglo Saxons were, however.

  • in that time.. they were celts.. anglo saxons came afterward

  • its true, its terrifing sight, no need for armor, just bravery.......

  • it's true. what would you think if a mob of naked people painted blue were charging at you? it only makes sense.

  • Historians need to take metal detectors to the battle sites they think the Romans chose, there has to be even the smallest artifact, the britians rebels who died was up to 80,000,has to be something right??

  • i find it very strange how no one has found the site yet :S

The number of bones, armour and coins left over from this battle must of been enormous and yet no one has found the site.

  • Historians can' find the exact place, because the place has been long used for farms- theres no more forested areas

  • Hey, they were a Germanic people. The same linguistic tree that gave us names like Vigdís Finnbogadóttir ;)

  • the brits were not germanic, they were welsh celt and gaelic

  • No, but the Germanic Saxons that conquered them named it Watling Street instead of something Gaelic.

  • i live right next to watling street and it was the romans who named it, its a famous roman road stretching from central london down to dover

  • @Tareltonlives not Gaelic Celtic, but Gallo-Brittonic Celtic.
