Kenny Wayne was a phenom...as was Johnny Lang. They've both sold their souls to the pop devil. I should have known better than to hold out hope they'd stay true to their blues roots. Oh well...he's still a phenominal guitar player and a talented musician.
Who is the singer? And has he changed singers over the years? I quite enjoy Kenny Wayne, but it seems the vocalist sounds very different in each album.
A lot of this CD had Chris Layton or Steve Potts on drums and Dave Smith on bass.

Up from the ashes, out of the flames
Keeps gettin' stronger, like a slow rollin' train
Watch it run
Oh, why do the good die young
Burnin' like a shootin' star
Born with a broken heart
Off in the distance, it was callin' my name
So I took me a ride, on that slow rollin' train
It still runs
