The one i shot had an orange ramp insert, and a snub barrel. I only got 2 shots because the ammo is so expensive. the bullets weigh 1.6 ounces each, damn thing looked like a flare gun! It does kick a lot, but i thought it was surprisingly controllable.

Its pretty expensive to shoot though.. the rounds I'm shooting tomorrow are about 3 bucks everytime ya squeeze the trigger (500 grain). I have to start reloading soon! Stay safe out there.

Auot pistols are pretty fuckin' weak compared to the 500 magum. I'm pretty sure there aree also .38 caliber autos, too. In the tv show 'Handguns", I've seen a .38 being fired at a cinder block and... didn't do much damage. Then saw the 500's .50 caliber bullet fired and pretty much cut the cinder block to pieces on impact. Imagine the kind of damage it couls do to a burgler.

There are a ton of videos of people loosing control of the mod 500, too so the gunn "flying out of their hands" means nothing. A scope on it means nothing. I have a red dot and also use an EOtech on my 44 magnum, too. Big deal. Yes there are CUSTOM one-of-a-kind handguns with slightly larger calibers but that is not a PRODUCTION gun.
