Is there a particular reason you would choose the iPhone? I would say the Samsung for the sheer multimedia capabilities and the realization that the resistive screen is quite capable.

But I guess some people have been caught in the app wave and if there isn't an app for this or that (so-called "smartness") then it's a no-go. I used the LG Arena before and fared well enough without all of that. This seems a worther successor for now til Vivaz or X10 from SE or some other high end from others.

This review is helpful in understanding the mixed reviews on the resistive touchscreen. Based on your use the screen seems fine and responsive, but i think others unknowingly use this like an iphone, as your gestures seemed to show no problems and gave evidence that u have actually used the phone for more than 5 minutes. I have seen reviewers stupidly shake this around like a wiimote to explain its motion features.

Do you turn it upside down when you put it down?. The phone goes to "silent" when you have an incoming call and you turn it up side down.

yes, i have the etiquette pause turned on so it will go silent if i turn it upside down.. but i want the loud speaker to come on when i am in a phone call, as i take it away from my ear and lay it down (face up) but it will not work!

if you look in menu,> settings.> motion settings.> speaker call.. that is how to set it up, but it will not work for me?

Because I got this phone 4 days ago and tha battery is so bad!

It needs 3 hours to fully charge and lasts like 1 day or less with normal usage.

I even put it on silent and put tha screen brightness on 3.

when i had the phone the battery would last around 2 days with medium usage(playing music throughout the day and some internet usage). and i should take so long to charge you might need to get a new battery

Yes it is accurate when you have a gd signal but i havnt had any problems. yes you can download new widgets but not apps.

Thats a hard question i was going to get the hero but it was abit too expensive for me. But its still a good phone. I havnt had any problems with the phone yet and it runs smothly. I personally think that the phone is perfect for me and it does every thing that i need it to without problems
