  • alot of these pure tibetan singers eventually had to convert themselfs to singing mandarin with tibetan music to earn a better living. this is all due to the nature of capatilism and does not represent cultural extinction. a lot of people in china like tibetan music but do not understand the language. thus making them buy tibetan sounds with the music but with chinese dialects.
