Proof they fear your vote: My wife and I were interrigated by the CIA at our home in SE Indiana in 2005 for writing a letter to a business asscociate in Manhattan. In the letter we discussed legally overthrowing this regime through the 2006 elections, hopefully culminating in the impeachment of both Cheney AND Bush as well as the indictment of numerous others. Tapping his notes, the CIA agent asked, "Just what did you mean by THIS??!!" He was pointing to words I had written, "WE, the people"!

We wouldn't let CIA in the house. We saw them coming. We made the "conversation" (interrigation) on our front porch LOUD so all the right wing neighbors could hear what was going on.

One agent asked me THREE times, "You're over 55, right?" I've wondered what that meant to him. Obviously something.(?)

Also, it was clear that they had intercepted the letter as my buisiness partner knew nothing about this.

Later, we were stopped on a Vermont highway!

No not yet - I am still trying to get on the ballot first - (which cost me $13 at Kinkos' for all the cpoies of the petition - but I have volunteers - and they are not doing a very good job - and I am 3000 miles away from there -and the deadline is next TUe

You can pay people like 20 cents a signature - and if they get 100 signatures - you give them 20 bucks - (maybe they can get 100 in a couple of hours) - anyway - if you need 2000 signatures and you get 20 people to get 100 signatures and give them each 20 bucks - tht is only $400 - but I got a late start and did it half hearthed (and cheap)- with volunteers that convinced me they could get it done - but they did not come through

See I'm in Hollywood - but Im running in my original home district in VA - and I could onlybe there long enough to get 500 signatures - they have like three days left to get anouther 1000 or so - and I think they have all given up - it is hard as an independent bec. a lot of people who would sign are not registered and those that refuse are usually Dems that don't want a spoiler - I am going to try an agreesive campaign - anyway (as a write-in)

well first it depends on state and party affiliation - but Im independent in a state where you have to get signatures to get on the ballot

I am thinking about doing a run in 2012 for my district in California against the Republican incumbent (who is considered one of the most corrupt representatives in the nation). If I would run as a democrat do I need to go through a primary nomination on the local level as well?

Yeah the House. I am not running yet. I don't satisfy the requirements, I am not 25 yet. And yes the turnout here yesterday is disgusting. The only people who vote are senior citizens.

so anyway - CA has a seperate primary from the Presidential - for all the parties to decide who they nominate for U S House of reps - I assume that is your goal - mine too - anyway - that was yesterday in CA - and I have the full results here - for example Nancy Pelosi (speaker) had some OTHER democrat run against her in the primary - they got 11% and Nancy won with 89% of the vote - and turnout was about 7% of the whole district

Bear with me - Iwas a bit sidetracked - the whole prospect is very doable. I think you can contact the COUNTY registrars office or voting office for a lot of the info - they would have a website and you can even talk to them on the phone - tell them you are interested in running for that office -

This may or not be new to you, but alot of us were just too damned wrapped up in our own little lives to get involved in voting...until we have finally evolved & very much care to make a difference now...question being..R U aware of how many do not even know HOW to actually vote, once registered?That may be what stops many from the whole process?!?Peace ♥

actually - you are rigth - about 20% of the 100 million non-voters fall into those or similar categories - do you know what turnout is like in your state or district - I usually look at voting age population - but some people go by registered population

Thank you Lawrence! As far as the election is concerned on a federal level I've discovered that the process is not in keeping with the Founders visions. It's actually unconstitutional. I'm regaining my sovereignty as a citizen of the REPUBLIC so I'm not a part of the evil DEMOCRACY. Do you know the difference between the two?

ok, check this out. Look at the amount of counties using computerized ballots which are prone to hacking. Watch "Hacking Democracy" its an HBO film. It shows how it fails and that our vote sometimes in these counties it doesn't count. I think if the damn Republicans pull another Florida this year or some bullshit, there will be blood. There is no way the American people will continue to allow themselves to be fucked repeateadly.

Actually the people who research and expose machine fraud - they say only 3-5% of the vote can be rigged - but half the country does not vote so - see my video "3% or 50%"

the state of CA and the republican in FL both got rid of machines or at least made you have to have a paper trail
