Jesus came to save the sinners, & that's ALL of us no matter how many tats we have, if we ride a bike or sport a minivan--he loves ALL of us. Think of all the ppl incarcerated--he loves them too! He loves them, not the sin. Look at Paul, a murderer driven by hate against Jesus. That changed one day when Jesus got his attn and while in prison Paul wrote most of the NT. He "got it". I love creed too and when I was young and not 45 like I am now I was also a biker and Jes us loved me then like he does now. I teach an RE unit about art and music in worship and I play this track to my 11 year old special needs children and they love it. Wish I could get you tube in school and show them your images

you got your motorcycle riding enthusiats who like to go out on an evening and ride their 2 wheeler, or on weekends, then..you got bikers, who live the life 24 -7...some are christian bikers who live clean life and spread good word to others, some are the ruff rowdy hells angels types.

First - I am justified by faith in the Lord. Second, I feed hundreds of people every week. Laying down your life for the sake of another ,,, you've obviously never served. My husband served 25 years. Truth is, Jesus would NOT be a biker! He could hardly afford a $30,000 TOY just to ride around on. He was humble and thought The WORD OF GOD was more important than EARTHLY POSESSIONS!! All the Bikers I know worship their hardly-able son's, not Jesus! And no one has been able to prove that last statement wrong! Tell one to sell his overgrown moped and give the money to the poor, he'll tell you to go to hell (See Matt. 19:16-23).

Real bikers are not the ones with the shiney stuff ... that would be the pharisaic yuppie riders. Real bikers, 70% of which have served in combat duty, are willing to lay down their lives for the sake of their brothers. And, by the way, my old 1978 shovelhead with a kickstart is not worth $30K, and has to be prayed over for it even to start.

The point of "Jesus would have been a biker" is saying that He hing around with sinners and regular people, like you and me, not the religious people.

to tell you the truth this isnt a praise song what so ever. Eric Clapton wrote this after buying a house in England and it was the first time in his life that he had felt comfort in any one place that he could go back to. through out Eric's life he was very insecure especially at this time in his career.

Eric Clapton has also said that he isnt a Christian but does believe in something higher than him. he says that music is his religion and savior.

Clapton is Christian, and this was his first 'religious' song... but you can interpret it how you want. I'm personally not Christian, but I find that the song is just an inspirational song about finding something worth living for.
