  • It don't get any better than this stuff.!!!!

  • Who's gonna fill their shoes?

  • Who would have guessed George would have outlived Buck?

  • I thought that was Faron Young that did that-

  • @jdavis26 It's a Buck Owens classic.

  • I love the clip of Buck, George and Hag.....now there's three real legends for you!

  • how true and hes still rocken

  • my fave love you old buck

  • Wow! 107,275 know good music!! Not one dislike!!

  • Did anyone ever see the Jones interview when he and Buck were touring together in the early days? The story goes that Buck wouldnt let George go on stage last one night after George had requested to go on last .........George went on stage first and did every one of Bucks songs , George walked off stage and said to Buck " follow that" .

  • @pedalman Yeah, That was a great story.

  • @pedalman What he didn't tell was Buck's side of the story. Buck did go on, and proceeded to perform George's entire reparatory.

  • @pedalman Great story, but that never happened with Possum and Buck. That's a early '56 Jerry Lee Lewis doing that to Chuck Berry fact.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE It was actually George Jones telling the story in a tv interview I saw , so if it were not true was the possum making it up ?

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Buck himself told that story on numerous TV appearances and radio interviews and it was in his book I believe.

  • @pedalman Yeah that was a good story, its also in George Jones biography " I Lived To Tell It All", great book by the way.

  • @pedalman That's such a wonderful story. You go, George.

  • @pedalman Jones was trashes that night lol, like most every night back in the days

  • @pedalman Yes I heard that story and it's true. but,, what did Buck do?

  • @TheFarmerfitz Yes , Buck went out and did all of Georges songs.

  • @pedalman yeah and buck did the exact same show. I love that, true story.

  • @pedalman I missed that but would have loved to see it...George & Buck are my favorites and that sounds like something George would do.

  • i love you George forever and ever !!!!!

  • this is country music, bitches....

  • Buck singin' Don Rich's part...... and the Possum too.

  • hey look im only 26 yrs old and i must say this is really good music !!! my dad was and still is a big buck owens fan......i also have o say that buck owens (R.I.P) music sounds much better than little gay ass jusin beiber !!! RIP buck owens !!!

  • @deadnative3000 George Jones and Buck Owens are better singers than any singere out there ..... justin biber can go to hell and take his music with him

  • Great stuff

  • kinda slow, but great, nonetheless

  • Boys put two Right 4730 Dam good job...!

  • Hard to believe George Jones outlived Buck Owens.

  • Great version!

  • Country Music at its Best!!

  • Thanks for the posting. Great job by George and Buck on a great song. This is REAL country! Think I'll just have a cold one and sing along!!

  • They don't make country like this anymore. :(

  • If you noticed George does a real good job singing backup for Buck. He does a real good job as the great Don Rich. I love right at the end of the song. GREAT!!!

  • Buck Owens is simply the best Country Music singer ever. I like the Possum, too...but Buck's the best!!

  • GOOD OLE DAYS!!eeehhh haa man this brings back old memories.will never be replicated

  • Magic

  • Holdee......reminds me back in 'cowboy land',

  • Great track - hadn't heard this before.

  • the possom is the greatest

  • This is one of my favorite videos too!

  • THE MUSIC WILL LIVE ON FOREVER.

I can die a happy man now :)

  • yep. you're sure a lucky guy

  • George Jones is a great country musician, one of my favorites, Buck Owens R.I.P was the greatest.

    they're both country legends!

and this is absolutely an awesome song!

    Edward David Aiss. Kentucky

  • George Jones is the living voice of country music.

    *Ray*

  • Ray: Yeah Possum AND Bocephus are the living voices of country.

  • NO KIDDING !! This is the best country music that ever lived , todays country music sucks except for king george and alan jackson... com on guys ! lets get back to the country PLEASE...............

  • love this song!!! so inspiring and motivational...the kinda stuff they need today so badly!! country gold!!

  • WOW!!! POSSUM AND THE TIGER

  • @BakersfieldBuck Love George, but not so much Buck. I grew up with Buck on Hee Haw and I could never get Hee Haw out of my mind when looking or listening to Buck.

  • Two legends teaming up on a classic song - real country music doesn't get any better than this! Thank you for posting this video.

  • you cant touch these men!!!the country singers today wish they had half the talent these men do!!!!

  • country isnt what it was back then anymore all they sing about these days is sex

  • You can hear the toll that was taken on George's voice from all the bills and booze. You can then compare that to how clear and pristine Buck's voice sounds. Buck, never doing having any 'hard' vices, sounded like he was 30 at age 60.

  • same with Cash, Haggard, and waylon...you can here how age affected them. I still pay to see George or Merle... I wish I would have had the chanec to see Johnny Cash

  • Hard to tell how age affected Marty and Conway's voice. They died earlier.

  • I got to see Johnny Cash in 1996. Of the many concerts I went to in my life, it was the only one where I sat front row center. It was a great show.

    *Ray*

  • I couldn't agree more, he sounds just like on the Ranch Show. Too bad that Buck lost Don that early...

  • Both these guys are awesome!

  • 0:35 you beat me to this song...I was thinking about doing a video montage of this when I came across that picture of the two of them a few days ago but I decided not to do one. Loved good ol' Buck as well...I just got through watching him on some of my Hee-Haw DVD's, ironically enough.

  • Buck is the best! like em both...

Buck wrote this song and more classic songs as anybody in history!
