But 3 of those pipes are just for show, right?

No all 4 pipe are connected with a "muffler", only the airflow is not perfect and when the car is standing it seems its only the last pipe open.

@ChamberlainBM Not inside, but outside. While driving through a village, all heads are turning to my Chevy at the same time, like a ballet.

On the french "highway" other car overtook me really slowly to have a good view to my car and some of them made photos during driving.
