@BillionNames transplanting is stressful to the plant. always is. we try to minimize it. Thats new soil. The old soil is pretty depleted of nutrients.

@jeremynorbury I am looking for a more nutrient rich soil with this young tree. No need to wire for such a small speciment. Larger trees need wiring. thanks though, great questions.

Bonsai growing can be so stressful lol. I had 5 seeds of which 3 hatched into little sproutlings. 1 died when putting it in it's own pot. The other died when it grew too big and snapped in half over it's own weight and the third is still growing. Hopefully I'll have more success with that third ( and last ) one :D

@gazeebo88 It is a challenge. You have done well. Keep at it. Get more seeds if you need to. It takes time and patience. That is one of the lessons of bonsai :)
