If the cops stop you for jaywalking here, they can check if you're illiegal and start deportation. Lotsa families might be broken up. this is silly. I may not make sense to you, I dont make sense to myself, but I do ask myself every day "why me". I miss my home....my family....my life. So if I dont sound rational, Im sorry, Im just out of making sense of it. Its exhausting when you're actually going through it.

I agree its devastating, I do, But you overlook the fact that there are immigrants supporting your cause, as absurd as it sounds they understand we understand, and were trying to fix it, but how much can we really help if were placed in the same cage? And also, its about 10 times more difficult to become a citizen if you are Mexican, central Americans do it without any struggle and I dont understand that.

Truth is, if you really want to enter the US. and become an upstanding citzen, you can do it! and there are many different ways that you can!

and even from mexico I support them, I send them care packages and write to them, and I do that for the United States, which I consider to be my country despite where I was born.

I don't think its fair that I was finishing up school to join the navy and was doing everything by the book and always did and got deported, why cant there be help for people like me? If I was a criminal, or working just to build a house in Mexico I would undertstand, but Im not, I support the United States, No crimes committed here, I support the troops in Iraq even if most AMericans don't because I know young kids over there

i sympathize with those who have the same stand point, the ones like outstanding students that cant go to school because they cannot afford it, the ones who have paid taxes all the years that they have been there, the ones who went out of their way to assimilate and are willing to do whatever it takes to do right by the united States. There is an enourmous ammount of people who being overlooked because of the immigrants who fit every possible stereotype.
