I'm 14 years and I'm started my sixth with classic ballet. Everyone I know laughs at me because I'm doing classic ballet for so long. It's my passion and life, and I'm enjoying it. No matter what other people think. I'm proud of it, because classic ballet is a beautifull sport.
But when hen people see me dance, they all speechless.
You have to do what makes you happy, no matter what.
@DescoRAWR I liked your comment. Also, why don't you post yourself dancing on YouTube? I'm sure people would compliment on your beautiful dancing skills. ^^
@DescoRAWR Totally agree. I've been having ballet classes for about 8 years now and I'm in your age. Ballet is my entire life. Even though I may not dance well, I won't give up.<3
@DescoRAWR It's not about doing what you love, I mean that's where it begins... haven't you learned anything from this film? It's about losing yourself to your desire, not just perfect the steps, but also to embody your role beyond the steps that define it. When people see you, they shouldn't see you, they should see the role you are embodying much like the black swan in the movie...
@DescoRAWR Unfortunately most people cant afford to do what they like, specially when its something similar to ballet where there's no money in it as a future.. Most people say money cant buy happiness but they fail to realize without financial security we dont get the opportunity to enjoy freedom..
this was an amzing movie! it tell you how much a ballerina goes through. I was a Ballerina untill i quite i wish i never did so much beauty in the dancing!
I enjoy alternative films more than commercial ones, when I watched Black Swan trailer I thought it called my attention, it seemed to be an interesting film::: then I saw it:: the photoraphy was great, the scenes, the performances are awezome, Nalie acts very well... But, I didn't like it at all, I think the drama is so simple I think they could have done more with this story....But I enjoy the soundtrack
Just stfu. These scenes are what make the movie more realistic !? That's the whole point is to show what's happening and everything . Simple as fuck don't like the fucking scenes they have they have a button its called fastforward personally I don't like it for enjoyment but it's not put in the movie just to be there !
@LeafCoeur People think it's wrong for some reason, I personally think it brought more drama into this movie,. (Mainly because you never really know if Nina and what's her face really do have that intamate scene) Second best drama movie ever!!!! (Requiem for a dream #1) :)
@13pangea- I couldn't agree more with you. I love all the creepy hallucinations and action, but the sex in this movie (and in many others) is immoral and uncalled for. I'd love this movie and recommend it to people if it wasn't for that. (but I do like the soundtrack.)

@TheSteko93 : she wanted to do both. she tried being perfect like beth and even comments at the end of the film the she had finally felt perfect. she stopped crying when she found out that she had stabbed herself and smiled in the mirror because she realized that she was finally perfect and nothing else mattered to her at the time. so really, she was doing both, trying to be perfect and letting her dark side come out. no fighting please! xDD

I don't get the point. These movies just work with their soundtrack, directing and acting. VFV and TGM have two of the best scenes in cinema history: Evey at the rooftop and Del's execution. They also have extremely good messages in it. But i especially like them cineastically. shows how a friendship can change thoughout the years. Plus Robert de Niro is a great, great actor. My second favourite right after Tom Hanks and before Natalie Portman. And i hope you don't make the mistake by confusing The Green Mile with 8 Mile just like my classmates. I love those three movies. (Also love The Usual Suspects, Matrix and Kill Bill - all for their perfectness in every way.)
@KJCyanideSunshine You should inspire other children with your fine taste in music and knowledge. Right now, the society needs more people like you (: I am happy to say that you have the greatest pleasure to walk on this world because you know the true meaning of music (:
@KJCyanideSunshine Same thing with me. I'm in 7th grade. Nobody in my class understands how beautiful this music is. The movie is the best i've ever seen.
@Supergibb That's superfluous. She wasn't just "crazy". It was a mixture, between OCD and psychosis. I say that based on what psychiatrists said, I'm not one myself, but I trust someone's professional point of view, and I completely agreed. That's what makes this movie wonderful, specially for people that love art, psychology, thrillers, metaphors, it's just...everything I wished for in a movie, I know a lot of people felt that way too.
@girlsnextdoorkendra All of that constitutes "Crazy". She was mental, not right in the head, a bit nutty, not all there, somewhat logically inept, had a couple screws loose; choose your term, its all the same.
I'm not saying the movie is bad or lacks depth, but the protagonist is crazy. If you want to get technical, she has a few psychiatric terms i'm sure, but to normal folk whom are not anal about what exact mental problem she is diagnosed with; she is crazy.
Of course, Clint Mansell did the soundtrack again. He's a genius. But after Lux aeterna, we all know that. Natalie was absolutely brilliant in this movie. I could feel her dispair, it was frightening. She has to be taken very seriously, because she's just getting warmed up. Amazing performance! And Darren? My hero. His movies are so poetic and beautiful. Can't wait for his new projetct!!! I thank them all for existing and work together. :)
@13pangea I respect your opinion and I understand where you are coming from, but I liked those scenes. They were symbolic and in this case, told the audience a lot about Nina and her instructor. This stuff is human! It's natural! Why pretend it isn't? We've left the period of separate beds on television.
this movie would have been absolutely perfect without the unnecessary racy scenes. in my opinion, sex in movies is so unclassy and not needed. this movie would have been just fine witout those scenes.
@Bagrawr well, in my opinion, the director just put it there to satisfy the pigs out there who watch movies just because of those scenes. they do that with so many movies. it just isn't fair to those of us who want to watch an intellectually stimulating story and not be distracted by that other stuff. i'm not a prude, i just think it would be nice if entertainment didn't have to include scenes that appeal to horny sex addicts.
@13pangea I know this comment is from 5 months ago, but seriously... Why do you think that the sex displayed in this movie was for "horny sex addicts"? It didn't have nudity. It was all simulation. I'm a 17 year old girl, you don't need to be a "horny sex addict" to find that scene beautiful. It wasn't just "hot", it was erotic, but at the same time, artistic. It's such an important scene, the black swan taking over Nina, it was important for it to be shown. Black Swan: 10/10 ...
@girlsnextdoorkendra i'm a seventeen year old girl, too, i wasn't calling our age group horny sex addicts. i meant the ones who just watch it to see girl-on-girl sex, just because . . . well for whatever reason. i understand why it was necessary, but there's so many movies out there that are composed just so they can sell sex--i guess i'm more frustrated about that. since then, i've seen black swan more and i understand why those scenes were needed, but still . . . that's just me.
i just saw the movie and it was brilliant O.o and i read some of you say that the movie was hard to follow 'cause you didn't know what was real and what not? well that made it even better, you've felt the emotions from Nina better trough that. and if you pay attention, you'll get it. but for some reason now i'm happy and sad that i quit ballet (after nine years lol).
i know how did the kings speech win the oscar?? who cares about a bunch of people with bad death who dont know how to speak right. this the social network and inception were before that stuoid movie
@liotie No,IT´S NOT !! The soundtrack it´s good , i have to admit, but the movie is very very weak. The plot is incomprehensible(you dont know what is real and what is not)and it´s result of an amateurish direction for the genre of suspense.Darren is not properly prepared to direct these kind of movies.
The "holes" in the narrative are the main problem, the second it´s frustation. The REAL Black Swan just appears in 5 minutes in the WHOLE movie. X (
@MagnumBullets47 First the plot is not incomprehensible at all if you cant understand its because you didnt wanted to think while listening to the movie because I was thinking during all the movie and I understand it pretty damn well. Ive seen alot of suspense movie and this one kill them all. You may think it look amateur but saying that prove that you have no knowledge of movie making and different psychological effect of each scene. Now go back to watch transformer and GTFO.
@liotie Are you kidding me kid ? Look, i was too generous in talking about this movie with you.Trust me! Incomprehensible is a from of saying that it isnt totally intelligible.I understood the plot but not entirely, because it was impossible to do so.Requiem for a Dream is ten times better than this movie, one of the reasons why it´s because makes sense and it´s a constructive experience.Black Swan is like DuChamp: You pick a bunch of crap, put together all that junk and call it art ! >:O
@MagnumBullets47 Kid ? I understood the movie better than you because you dont wanna use your lazy brain and try to atleast understand this masterpiece. I really understand it because I understand the metaphor that Darren used. It take some sensibility to read between the lines. So if you cant properly judge a movie dont do it. You are just acting like a damn retard who need to see evident things to understand something. READ BETWEEN THE LINES YOU LIL CUNT.
@liotie _)_ You dont know me you piece of shit ! Go SEE another movies, try to READ books or critics,THEN see the movie again. You will change your impressions.I´m being serious and honest with you.You are complete alienated by this goddam movie ! I´m not saying that the movie is bad,i´m just saying that isnt perfect and then you come with your ignorance and starts to offend me......intolerant people (like you)are capable of horrible things."Read between the lines" - You REALLY dont know me....
@MagnumBullets47 And of course you dont know a shit about me and you call me intolerant. I never said this movie was perfect NEVER I said that because there is no perfect movie in this world. And also Im offending you because you offended me by insulting a movie that really pulled on my heart string and I just cant accept that. This movie deserve more respect than be called a piece of shit. If you dont like this movie atleast have some respect for those who love it and leave us alone.
@justinbieber1716 An 8 year old not liking this movie. Imagine that. :-) You are a little too young to understand the beauty of a movie this amazing. Wait until you are older and watch it again.
I know people say that Social Network director David Fincher was snubbed by King's Speech director Tom Hooper, but I truly think Darren Aronofsky was the one who truly deserved the Oscar for best direction. His close-up shots, unsettling camera work, and point-of-view shots in the movie were perfect in making the audience not only see, but feel Nina's paranoia throughout the movie.
What the heck !!!!! i hated this movie and im only 8 yrs old !!!!!!!!! well that could be cuz i dont like swans ballet or anyhting like that sooooo yeah thats probably y
If it's true that you're only eight years old, you shouldn't have a Youtube account in the first place, let alone watching a mature movie like this. Plus it's only common sense to realise that a movie about a ballet would have ballet IN it.
@justinbieber1716 Only eight years old? What's that supposed to mean? This film was absolutely beautiful in every way, and made even pain seem elegant. You don't need to be watching films like this because of your age and your obvious lack of maturity.
@justinbieber1716 you're just a little kid. revisit Black Swan when you are capable of understanding it. that probably won't be until you're in middle school, at the very least.
@justinbieber1716 Well, I'm 14. I had to watch the movie on the web cause my mom wouldn't allow me to go to the movies or buy the DVD. I kinda got confused in some parts and didn't get them very well, but the movie is not bad. It's about Nina (the main character) wishing so much to have both black and white swan and stop being judged like an innocent childish girl, that she starts going crazy and having schizophrenic attacks. At the end, she kills herself. An older friend had to explain me :P
@bleachybromst Sorry, I didn't do it with that purpose. btw, I am a girl and if I was really interested in the movie, I wouldn't give a thing and watch it even when I know the ending.
Great sundtrack...just watched the movie..natalie portman was training for over the year for the film & won the Academy Award for the best actress...interesting psychological thriller...predictable ending...but that what had happened in Swan Lake...isn't it..
Hi, i really love this video, but... i've been looking for a song that i can't find yet... It's in the part when Nina is casting for the rol of the New Swan Queen when she dance the White Swan and Thomas told her that she was excellent for that rol but he needed a woman who can play the White and Black Swans.
ABSOLUTELY robbed of an Oscar nomination.

@akwardturtle16 Violence isn't a human instinct?
My good sir, I call foul.
Society cycles around violence; it is the catalyst for change, the leak for oppression and the tool for power.
Violence was embedded in the human mind during the paleolithic age and since then has manifested itself in almost every aspect of human action.
You may not like violence, as many (including myself) do so, but do not fail to respect the powerful force.

13pangea 7 months ago
@13pangea
It was important for the character though. so it wasnt unneeded.
Bagrawr 6 months ago
@Bagrawr well, in my opinion, the director just put it there to satisfy the pigs out there who watch movies just because of those scenes. they do that with so many movies. it just isn't fair to those of us who want to watch an intellectually stimulating story and not be distracted by that other stuff. i'm not a prude, i just think it would be nice if entertainment didn't have to include scenes that appeal to horny sex addicts.
13pangea 6 months ago
@13pangea I know this comment is from 5 months ago, but seriously... Why do you think that the sex displayed in this movie was for "horny sex addicts"? It didn't have nudity. It was all simulation. I'm a 17 year old girl, you don't need to be a "horny sex addict" to find that scene beautiful. It wasn't just "hot", it was erotic, but at the same time, artistic. It's such an important scene, the black swan taking over Nina, it was important for it to be shown. Black Swan: 10/10 ...
girlsnextdoorkendra 1 month ago
@girlsnextdoorkendra i'm a seventeen year old girl, too, i wasn't calling our age group horny sex addicts. i meant the ones who just watch it to see girl-on-girl sex, just because . . . well for whatever reason. i understand why it was necessary, but there's so many movies out there that are composed just so they can sell sex--i guess i'm more frustrated about that. since then, i've seen black swan more and i understand why those scenes were needed, but still . . . that's just me.

i just saw the movie and it was brilliant O.o and i read some of you say that the movie was hard to follow 'cause you didn't know what was real and what not? well that made it even better, you've felt the emotions from Nina better trough that. and if you pay attention, you'll get it. but for some reason now i'm happy and sad that i quit ballet (after nine years lol).
anyway, the film was amazing. enough said <3

BroadwayBoundLuva---this is NOT an official track. Vitaliy wrote it on his own, but it's more brilliant than all the original tracks combined.
The more I listen to it, the more I think the movie doesn't even deserve it. It's THAT great.

MagnumBullets47 7 months ago
@MagnumBullets47 Yes IT IS >:(
liotie 7 months ago
@liotie No,IT´S NOT !! The soundtrack it´s good , i have to admit, but the movie is very very weak. The plot is incomprehensible(you dont know what is real and what is not)and it´s result of an amateurish direction for the genre of suspense.Darren is not properly prepared to direct these kind of movies.
The "holes" in the narrative are the main problem, the second it´s frustation. The REAL Black Swan just appears in 5 minutes in the WHOLE movie. X (
MagnumBullets47 7 months ago
@MagnumBullets47 First the plot is not incomprehensible at all if you cant understand its because you didnt wanted to think while listening to the movie because I was thinking during all the movie and I understand it pretty damn well. Ive seen alot of suspense movie and this one kill them all. You may think it look amateur but saying that prove that you have no knowledge of movie making and different psychological effect of each scene. Now go back to watch transformer and GTFO.
liotie 7 months ago
@liotie Are you kidding me kid ? Look, i was too generous in talking about this movie with you.Trust me! Incomprehensible is a from of saying that it isnt totally intelligible.I understood the plot but not entirely, because it was impossible to do so.Requiem for a Dream is ten times better than this movie, one of the reasons why it´s because makes sense and it´s a constructive experience.Black Swan is like DuChamp: You pick a bunch of crap, put together all that junk and call it art ! >:O
MagnumBullets47 7 months ago
@MagnumBullets47 Kid ? I understood the movie better than you because you dont wanna use your lazy brain and try to atleast understand this masterpiece. I really understand it because I understand the metaphor that Darren used. It take some sensibility to read between the lines. So if you cant properly judge a movie dont do it. You are just acting like a damn retard who need to see evident things to understand something. READ BETWEEN THE LINES YOU LIL CUNT.
liotie 7 months ago
@liotie _)_ You dont know me you piece of shit ! Go SEE another movies, try to READ books or critics,THEN see the movie again. You will change your impressions.I´m being serious and honest with you.You are complete alienated by this goddam movie ! I´m not saying that the movie is bad,i´m just saying that isnt perfect and then you come with your ignorance and starts to offend me......intolerant people (like you)are capable of horrible things."Read between the lines" - You REALLY dont know me....
MagnumBullets47 7 months ago
@MagnumBullets47 And of course you dont know a shit about me and you call me intolerant. I never said this movie was perfect NEVER I said that because there is no perfect movie in this world. And also Im offending you because you offended me by insulting a movie that really pulled on my heart string and I just cant accept that. This movie deserve more respect than be called a piece of shit. If you dont like this movie atleast have some respect for those who love it and leave us alone.

@justinbieber1716
If it's true that you're only eight years old, you shouldn't have a Youtube account in the first place, let alone watching a mature movie like this. Plus it's only common sense to realise that a movie about a ballet would have ballet IN it.
Cryingwind 8 months ago
@justinbieber1716 Only eight years old? What's that supposed to mean? This film was absolutely beautiful in every way, and made even pain seem elegant. You don't need to be watching films like this because of your age and your obvious lack of maturity.
AnimeKanime 8 months ago
@justinbieber1716 you're just a little kid. revisit Black Swan when you are capable of understanding it. that probably won't be until you're in middle school, at the very least.
in the meantime, get off the internet, please.
Roomx237 8 months ago 4
@justinbieber1716 Well, I'm 14. I had to watch the movie on the web cause my mom wouldn't allow me to go to the movies or buy the DVD. I kinda got confused in some parts and didn't get them very well, but the movie is not bad. It's about Nina (the main character) wishing so much to have both black and white swan and stop being judged like an innocent childish girl, that she starts going crazy and having schizophrenic attacks. At the end, she kills herself. An older friend had to explain me :P

It's in the part when Nina is casting for the rol of the New Swan Queen when she dance the White Swan and Thomas told her that she was excellent for that rol but he needed a woman who can play the White and Black Swans.
