i half agree with what your saying that they are a bit different to the girls aloud/ sugababes sorta band, but they are still just just a band marketed to find a hole in the pop scene. I know there talented, but there are a thousand groups of girls in choirs who could sing to this standard. This have simpy been given an extra boost due to there looks and image, like all girl bands .

I disagree almost entirely. These girls were auditioned out of a multitude of extremely gifted singers, and were chosen based overwhelmingly on talent. It's improbable that they were chosen mainly because of looks or whatever flippant reason you have cared to provide. Besides, I think you'd find it difficult to locate a band or group of singers in the past few decades that haven't utilized a particular 'image' to gain support and solidify themselves within the music industry.
