  • Souls of Mischief, Digable Planets and A Tribe Called Quest should really collab with each other.

  • BOOM BOW BANG

  • It's just so good....I could listen forever

  • anybody know any other songs with a similar verse (instrument wise)?

i listen to this album last night and this is the song i keep coming back to and its all because of that verse :)

  • Every Beat and lyrical content on this album was illest can't hate on not one. Just Lovely

  • Maaaaaaaaan at 26. This takes me back to being a young teen. House parties were ruled by the echo of this whole album. Takes me back to being young and alive. That was in 98. 5 years after it's release, I was amazed back in 98 that it was still a good album, let alone in 2011 and it still beating all HipHop about today!! REAL music never dies. Love Souls. This album was the peak of good hiphop!!!

  • I love the beat change @ 2:01, so fukkin phat!

  • I can either take it slow or yo, I whyle up in it.

  • any one know a link were i can download this i looked on itunes and google and i couldent find

  • I LOVE WHEN THE BEAT CHANGE ON :56

  • in the early to mid 90's skateboarding was another element of hiphop. I think the song that put Souls in so many skate parts was 411 VOLUME 1 When 93 til infinity hit it was all over!!!!

  • Adam is the man that got more honies than a Hive o'

Bees I skeeze i'm pullin tricks like McGyver!!!

  • This is my theme song.

  • I got the daddy ding-a-ling to get ya hot and bothered- hahaha

  • underground hip-hop had a big influence on snowboarding as well in the 90's

  • Let her know that I was on it. Now I got dibs on that crib, I'm welcome back cause I'm Carter. Best lyrics eva!

  • spurts be bursting like a mile a minute, cause I can either take it slow or yo I wild up in it!!

  • "afterwards Im bouncing dips like tits on chicks

who be running track, but they be running back for more"

    i love that line haha

  • tits lol

  • @realsiq "I got the daddy ding-a-ling that get you hot and botherd" dats my shit no homo

  • yo this is probably my favorite track from the album, besides the title track. dude, but you own this shit, motherfucker. your a king to me

  • i love the souls dude. its so good

Anyone know why they are so pupular among skateboarders? I know Mike Carroll used an opio verse in his "Plan B - Questionable" part way back when. but is there any other connection?

  • Skateboarders have typically been fans of underground hip hop as well as other alternative styles of music. I think it has more to do with the musical culture of skateboarding more than it has to do with SOM catering to skateboarders.

  • word up man, i always connected skating and hip hop ever since i was a kid.

  • been a skater for two years and i love the undergroud

  • @TairyHesticles and also because most skateboarders can tell real shit from garbage shit!

  • @TairyHesticles ive noticed that kats who skate also emcee, graff,dj, n breakdance basically its like skateboarding is another element of hip hop nowadays...i dont skate myself but most of my graff homies do...

  • @TairyHesticles no doubt...it's quite consistent...one who is likely to follow alternatives to styles in life will likely gravitate towards other alternatives in in life whether it be sports...food or music..

  • @TairyHesticles its fun to snowboard/ski/skateboard to 90s hiphop bro

  • @SupraSkater69 yea cause back in the day when this album came out it wus all over the skate videos.. like 411 is. #8 they had never no more on a part where there in Madison , n there wus a gang of mobb deep on that shit also digable planets where on thats shit too.. skating is underground...people who skated back then where like outcast in a sense.they smoke write n listen to real hip-hop

  • @SupraSkater69 the beats are perfect to skate to, just has good flow

  • @SupraSkater69 carroll, and lee smith etc., were from the bay too, so that kinda is a reason, and its real hip hop too, the best music to skate to period.

  • @BlackGrass805 pete

  • @BlackGrass805 I had pete's brown es'. word

  • @1000rtodd honestly idk what that is but if those are pro model shoes thats tight

  • @SupraSkater69 hip hop 101 with dante ross on the the berrics!! thats why

  • @SupraSkater69

Hieroglyphics really blew up among skaters when Fred Gall used Oakland blackouts in his part in an old 411 video.

  • @SupraSkater69 411vm had alot of Souls/hip hop/good music in general i guess.

  • got to give u propz for postin this song. One of my favorites

  • it's a video game

  • best fucking album!

  • sample- freddie hubbard sky dive

  • Adam is the man that got more honeyz than a hive of bees I skeeze I'm pullin stunts like McGyver-dats dat sh*t!!
