After hearing your Einaudi piece for the ABF recital, I think I hear in this some of the same simple but exquisite elegance that Nuvole Bianche has. I'd never heard of Einaudi before, but I loved your performance so much that I am adding that piece to the top of my list of pieces to learn.
@SirSardonic - I'm so glad you're liking Einaudi. He's a big favorite over at the ABF forum, and his works are fantastic. Learning his music has really allowed me to be more creative at the piano. I used to play the guitar before taking up piano, and it was nice to noodle around, strumming chords and making songs. With the simple Einaudi bass pattern, it's like strumming on the guitar again. But now I can make the melody with my right hand instead of trying to sing. Much better for everybody!
Think this is probably your best recording to date IMO. It's really interesting and creative, really nice melodies throughout. The personal nature of it has certainly contributed towards an emotional and connected performance. Hope you'll keep working on new stuff in the future :-)

Creativity always seems comes to me through distraction and circumstance, and in this case it was really pushing from both sides. I was a little unsure about making public this piece, but your reassurance tells me this is how is was supposed to be for this case. Thank you!
Hey Ben - I'm a new member to the pianoforum & followed signature link. Then I found this. Man, I'm speechless. Congratulations. Two years of piano & you can come up with this stunningly beautiful, soothing and reassuring piece, made all the more special by how it came about. I'm actually glad that there is no sheet music for this. I'm not sure anyone else could possibly do it justice. I can't praise this one enough mate. Well done. I'm totally blown away.
