If you can't hang with the Haka and you are afraid of being intimidated, you shouldn't be on the pitch to begin with. If you are lettin a dance scare you... you've already beat yourself.

The HAKA should be outlawed. Which other team, in any sport, is allowed to show such disrespect to the opposition? It's unsportsman like and has no place in rugby. NZ should be ashamed.
It would be prudent, Robert, to at least find some basic details about the topic before posting arbitrary and uneducated opinions.
In case of Haka that would teach you that the challenge the Haka represents is quite opposite of disrespect. All other South Pacific nations perform the Haka before their rugby matches as well.
I am well familiar with the HAKA. I am a forty-five year old Kiwi and have always been against the dance. We often see other teams standing in defiance against the HAKA because they feel, and they are correct, that it is done only to intimidate. Rugby is a game of chivalry where we do our physical best while still respecting the other team. I have friends in France who are offended when we use the dance against their team. That speaks volumes to me.
@robertjohnson487 The haka is not an intimidation. You should know that by now. The haka is a sign of respect to the team. It is used to show the opposition that they are worth challenging. No haka = the other team are not a challenge, which would truly be disrespectful. Other pacific nations like Tonga, Samoa, and even the Aussies have their own haka, or war dance. To be against something that is older than any of us and is practised traditionally by many people is just wrong.
In fact an Italian man just posted to my profile and agreed with me in my opposition to the HAKA. We Kiwis don't realise how much of the rugby world views it.
@robertjohnson487, dude, you're an idiot. LEARN the topic you're speaking about before commenting.
The Haka is something New Zealand and ALL southern pacific countries do before a match. Watch the 7's, and you'll see Samoa, Tonga and even Fiji doing theirs.
@jameswebley fuck you hahaha the all blacks make me laugh all the time when they do their little strip dance. the springboks arent gay so they dont get scared. it takes alot to scare a south african trust me. get an army of chiefs against the springboks doin a haka and the springboks will be the ones standing their ground with the chiefs running with their grass skirts burning hahahahahahahaha! this doesnt put fear in anyone it just pissesthem off. thats what happened in '95
This is sooo kewl they have 2 now, and am so glad they did the slitting the throat move again against the boks and then carry on to kick their ass 19-0, been watching rugby for years and cant remember last test match when a team didn't score. All blacks are the worlds best everyone knows it
Best ground in the world Carisbrook is...So many great memories on the terrace. Can anyone tell me what the dunny council decided about the new stadium proposed a while back???
The Scotish referee who ref the NZ and France match perhaps still pissed over NZ tremendous win over Scotland. New Zealand lost a crucial ball 5 meters to the French In-Goal line was an example of how bias his fucken ass was. That was clear infringement by a French player... that was a "hand in the ruck" that took the ball away from the All Blacks' ruck!
yeah i saw them for real and i took a picture with them in Marseille just before their Ass breaking against Italy :) fucking awsome but with a "lighter" haka :p
how it went down in 1995:
all black: aww yeah ow lets twy ta do dah haka and scare dem away ow!
(do haka)
Springboks: are they constipated or what? they look like they're shitting their eyes out. lets fuck them up and win this rugby world cup.
(after the match) ahahahahahha we fucking won their haka never puts fear in us!
based on a true story and dont thumbs down because its true!
