Yeah i gotta say "back when he could sing" is a bit silly. Thom has one of the most original voices in music over the last 15+ years. I'm getting kind of tired of knocks on real musicians, when all these trend-bands are banking huge dough, all the "THE" bands, and the nu-metal craze, its forgetable music, no offense at all, i respect all music, i just need some originality sometimes. Radiohead is brilliant, then and now.
At the end of the Day Thoms voice is amazing yesterday today and for the future .. however i must say the two performances of YOU and MY IRON LUNG from this session are absolutely breath taking .. ive prob listened to this version about 100 times since i discovered it a month or so ago and it still gives me the shivers. I dont know whether its cos Thom tries to be more experimental with his voice nowadays .. never the less best voice of a generation

im sorry i agree with bigworm... back in bends/ ok com era thom was a fucking baeutiful singer... sometimes now-a-days thom just sounds off key and shaky... watch the older acoustic version of street spirit... and the new one at la reservoir you cvant compare the two

hand down, favorite radiohead song. I think I might like it more than the original--and that one was stellar!
