dude I highly recommend getting a stonger stand, I used one like this for 2 years until It gave away, thank god Its right infront my bed so I was able to save it during the break down of the stand :-)
Ok I have an 88 Extreme but is it just me or does the acoustic pianos sound glassy too thin...is there a step by step procedure to adjust the knob controls...because I also have a Yamaha but the pianos sound better when I amp it. Suggestions appreciated.
Ha! You started out with the opening bars of "Also Spoke Zarathustra"! (forgive me, but if I'd tried to spell the original title I would have failed). Awesome.
hey i had a question...which is a better overall keyboard, a Triton or a Karma? i havent tried either yet, but im planning on it. id just like to have some insight first.

man dont take it personaly but this crap 80's keyboard sounds like a toy. i think u should buy some good stuff like tyros3. u r wasting ur talent with this keyboard.
You havent got a fucking clue. Its a Korg Triton Extreme , and came out in 2005 not the 80's. If you think it sounds crap , try searching for other videos of it on you tube and you'll be suprised on the range and quality of sounds it has (this youtube video doesnt do it justice). Its also a workstation sampler , not just a 'keyboard. The tyros3 is a far newer synth but it costs a LOT more so you'd expect it sound good. The Triton extreme is a great synth for the price however.
yah i know ive actually played this keyboard at my friend's house. but after playing tyros 3 i personally believe korg triton is not worth buying because it doesnt sound like real instrument as tyos 3. i bet once u play t3 u wont even look for korg.
i love the triton extreme. one of the keyboardists in my band has one, the only thing i find as a bit of a negative is that its really impractical for changing patches quickly. do you find this?
I had the same problem, before I switched to a decent stand. The WS-550 from Quiklok and the König & Meyer 18950 are the only ones I find able to cope with heavy keyboards. No shaking here!
Korg Triton Extreme, This Syth is unreal man I go to guitar center all the time and play on it. The Ochastras and Movie theme and such are unreal and the strings. I cant wait to get mine. Soon enough.
Hahaa.. the classic "Space-theme" ;D don´t knock out that precious Triton :D I´d Truely with that I´d have one of those too.. But as I´ve heard, Korg made only few of those 88-key versions of it.. they´re quite rare and Extremely expensive.. but then again, so are TR-88 keys and OASYS 88 keys too.. The only Korg I have is the 01/WFd Very nice music =) -JMJärvinen synthesist Finland
@dsimonovic is it just me or is the extreme 88 keys acoustic pianos sound too thin..glassy type..or is there a way to edit them...I mean for the price and what not..you would expect quality sounding pianos.
After spending so much cash on a triton extreme, how come you've got such a shoddy stand that the thing wobbles all over the place. Go on - treat yourself - splash out on something decent to sit that keyboard on.
I love this keyboard! I make beats with it all the time.

OrganSymphony9 3 years ago
Just use a midi board or footswitch?
I just use 2 simple pedals to go +1 or -1 in a chain of performances/patches. My Roland A90 converts this into midi and sends it to my modules.

Thats hilarious. My Korg shakes just like yours. They're so dang heavy
