  • at 0:36 there is a giant spider or something running near the rear wheel

  • Nice license plate..

  • Sounds good, Whats up with the ugly body kit?

  • No offense Joe735 but wake up already and please realize Ford sucks. Sorry bud.

  • if u put that motor in a mustang and floor it u can do a back flip

  • I bet this thing haulssssss asssssss! I wanna see it on the strip!

  • At the end of the day, its still a camaro. Dont like the interiors/styling/body roll on that generation camaro. Feels cheap, looks cheap, and not a good feeling position in the cabin to see/predict where everything on the car is (bumper, corners, etc) Put that 427 in a 99/04 mustang GT or greater, and you get the best of both worlds.

  • @joe735 99 / 04 mustang. LOL way to disgrace the ls1 pal. Get real. Best of both worlds meaning what? Real power and a really fat overweight car? IRS pieces of shit. get real. Not to mention they're ugly. Besides all that, this movie is 4 years old and i dont even own this car anymore.

  • @jermzzz28 Best of both worlds meaning chevy power, and BETTER LOOKING FORD DESIGNS! 99-04 GT's with IRS? Wrong sir, the GT's, and mach1's are solid rears, Z28-SS's weigh nearly the same, and mustangs dont have anywhere near the sloppy body roll of a pos 4th-5th gen camaro. Interiors of mustangs are much more comfortable and more ergonomic. Now go ahead and make an argument with some actual facts, and not some bullshit opinion of yours because your just a chevy fanboy.

  • @joe735 Mustangs are just ugly. and my step mom had an 02 and it is cheap... interior crap cant even hold up a few years. i had a 97 camaro that was in way better shape because its not cheap

  • @joe735 I agreed with you for a minute there but then...... wholly fuck batman???? I don't have a problem with mustangs but get a real one and slap a nice 429 in her or stay Chevy and go a little older in fact the older the better. I mean my 87 firebird( in know pontiac but same thing) looks and runs sweet but it is a little awkward in the cabin . And yes these ones do look cheap or something....... actually it looks like somebody tried to build a muscle car and a ricer at the same time!

  • @joe735 I detect a Mustang fanboy. I can easily tell where the body parts of my Camaro are. The shifter placement is fucked up on the mustang lolz

  • lol at the liscense plate

  • so what is the job for the cams really? do they just make the engine rev higher faster and produce more HP or what? someone plz explain?

  • Awesome build! great job, sounds evil..... which is an excellent thing.

  • HOLY SHIT! lol What a monster

  • Man i love how deep the idle sounds...When i blow my motor i plan on

re-sleeving my LS1 block, or even go with a re-sleeved LS2 block and go

with the Callies 4.00" crank and their rods. I'm looking to do a 427 and maybe boost.

  • how the hell does a 427 even fit in that tiny engine compartment my buddys got the RS with a 3.8 and that barely fits haha but sick car anyways

  • Why did you go through 2 motors? What went wrong with the 427?

  • @nanaenanaja umm, cause I sold it to build the 454 perhaps???? is that ok with you, or should I consult you next time? lol

  • @jermzzz28 OK, I just thought somthing went wrong with the 427.

  • im thinking of picking up a 2001 T/a WS6 and dropping an LS7 into her, how much electrical work had to be done? just a tune?

  • wanna trade cars for my 93? You can keep those rims.

  • Other video says its a stroked LS6

  • yeah...... it is an ls6.... darton sleeved with a 4" stroke....

  • Could you tell me what exhaust set up you're running. 427 in mine too, and just trying to get an idea for exhaust performance and sound.

  • borla adjustable cat back with the cats removed. and the cutout wide open.

  • did you Dyno her? What kind of hp to the wheels you crankin out? I'm currently building mine this winter but unsure if I want to boost it too.

  • Darton Sleeved is...well simply the best. You did a good job on this motor man, I bet it doesn't hook up for shit! lol

  • I went through two more motors after this one. ended up with an lsx 454. this car is done and gone now. now i have a red car with a forged 364 nd a turbo

  • cool.

  • Cam specs?

  • says 427ci its not an ls1 bas ass maro though

  • its still an ls1 idiot

  • v6 conversion?

  • gotta love them pot holes in that thing.. sits to low. xD

  • Great sound. Don't care much for the Z06 rims or the RS body kit and spoiler though.

  • now THAT.... is a car! fucking beast. i'm gonna go drive my 95 GT off a cliff right now.

  • hahahahahaha the man has seen the light

  • what block is that ??

  • could be a stroked ls1

  • nice license plate

    sweet ass ride

  • sexy

  • lsx block? or ls7

  • Comment removed

  • its an lsx

  • how did you cram 7 litres under that hood?

  • just b/c its a 7L doesnt mean its bigger than the 5.7L of an LS1. its still a small block and therefore still the same size. the bore & stroke change how many L it is.

  • Man, that's a badass car no matter what ne one says. Fuck'm all.

  • sick man .. if u ever consider selling ur car or parting it out, i got first dibs on your intake and cam lmao

  • hey bro that sounds pretty damn mean!!

  • love it. have a 2000 camaro ss and want to do something like this with it. any pointers?

  • get a bag of pop-secret and stick it in the exhaust.

  • lol. love that smell...

  • thats one kick ass ride

    license plate sucks though

  • Hah, why does no one realize the "427" now is a small block. When my dad got his new z06 he kept calling it big block. I had to remind him it's not 1969 anymore. 427 as they call it whether or not it is actually a 427 is a small block. All Generals V8's are based off of one engine, they expand and are developed seperately and for different things, but all come from their small block pushrod V8.

  • amazing.

  • do you have the stock ls6 cam? That thing sounds badass...if only i had the money and time to swap one into my z28.

  • the sweet sound of an engine lasting no more than 15k miles :D i love it, cant make a honda sound like that

  • lol 15k miles, you're funny.

  • if it's an actual ls7 swap, it should last a long time, but if its a stroked ls1, it'll last under 20k before the cylinder walls start fuckin up, average lifespan was about 18-19k miles assuming you're not running it too hard

  • you're stupid retarded and no nothing about LSX cars obviously if you think just cause a block has been resleeved to 4.125 its only gonna last 15k. The sleeves are stronger and thicker then stock with darton sleeves. And a 4" stroke will go forever. do you see 408s lasting 18k miles? no. same stroke length. stop talking now and post about something you know about, cause this obviously isnt it.

  • Learn how to spell, you call me "stupid, and retarded" yet you can hardly put together a sentence. I would correct your horrible fucked up grammar, but it would take too long. Stroking out a motor will lessen the life span, of ANY engine.

  • You ARE stupid and retarded. This isn't a grammar test, so please shut the fuck up about the cliche grammar flame. I wasn't making it a point to have perfect grammar, but honestly, yours isn't any better. For instance, your last sentence made ABSOLUTELY no grammatical sense. And above, you don't need a comma when listing only two adjectives separated by "and," you only need them with three or more.

As for the stroke, what the fuck is the difference if a 4" stroke can go 100k? idiot.

  • you think just 'cause it's a magical LS7 it can outlast a MID sleeved ls1 block with the same stroke and bore as an ls7? The LS7 block is in fact a resleeved LS2 block, and a SHITTY sleeve at that. the resleeved ls1 MID block is 10 times stronger then the LS7. That info comes from Steve D, the guy who essentially CREATED the darton sleeve and owns R.E.D. in Socal the most premiere sleeving company in this country.

  • You know nothing of these motors, most likely nothing of motors in general as far as I can tell. I don't know you, and I'm sure you know a lot about some things. Right now, you really need to shut the fuck up though, cause you're stepping way out of your league.

  • I'm white, and I agree.

Still doesn't change the fact that you're a fucking idiot and try to talk about shit you know nothing about. One day, when I give a fuck, I'll go look at your comments and have a good laugh at all the other threads you get owned in. haha.

  • Read my first post, I don't see any "shit talking" as a matter of fact, the only "shit talking" i did was the last one because boredom kicked in. And you obviously "give a fuck" because you keep on replying when all I made was a simple comment :P Have fun nigger.

  • my dads v8 ram had 300,000 miles on it when he sold it. if you take care of any motor it will last...badass car btw

  • look up vtec killers

  • i want my car to sound like that..

  • I creamed my pants when it cranked up...... =( dammit.......I just did it again when i started the video over, thanks >=[

  • i feel sorry for your girlfriend

  • on a lt1 could you go .60 over with a .400 or .375 stroker crank? wouldnt that make a 427?

  • does it have an exhaust on it, i mean muffler single or duals, i had td's on my 408 looking for something in a 4in single setup

  • All hail Lsx motors!

  • LS6 or LS1 Bored and stroked up to 427ci. Could just be bored up to 427 actually.

  • How would you make a ls1 427 all bore?

enlighten me how you would even get close with a 4.250 diameter sleeve. Even on a MID sleeved ls1 block with 4.160 bores, on a stock stroke you wouldn't even make 400ci.

You'd need a 4.350 bore on a stock stroke to make a 427. considering most sleeves are a 4.250 bore, you'd be past the sleeve, into the water jackets and... well it's just not physically possible, sorry.

  • Ask Lingenfelter

  • I don't need to, I know.

Sorry, you're wrong. Cant make a 427 all bore ls1.

maybe you're thinking of a 383, some do that.

    sorry.

  • OK. I must have been mistaken, never heard of a stroker crankshaft for an LS1 though. Seen north of 383 all bore though, that I'm certain of...

  • Even on a 383 "stroker" it's a 4" stroke...

4 in strokes are common in ls1's my 454 I have no is a 4.185 bore on a 4.125 stroke. unreal torque.

  • i love that liscense plate man.

  • i think thats an ls6 with a stroker kit to a 427

  • This thing can smoke any SVT..you can S/C an SVT or Procharge taht thing and it still wont keep up to a 427!

  • @ChevyHP1 procharger probably cant keep up but kenne bell super charger can put out 700 hp... not sure what this is putting out but it will be a dam good race

  • What kind of hellacious is in that thing? Christ...that thing could make a can of coke bust.

  • haha... SVTRIPN... riight.. come to dallas and get owned son.

  • I hate chevys, but this almost changed my mind. positively wicked!

  • u hate chevys?... how can u hate chevys?

  • yep, very sharp...sounds bad ass!!

  • i wish my SS sounded that nice, jesusssssssss that is a thing of beauty right there

  • "SVTRIPN"

    haha nice

  • hey man realy nice car love that big block sound check out my vid and leave a comment...its just a small block lol F-BODY's ROCK

  • not a big block... genIII

  • Note the title 427ci, if thats true then this qualifies as a "big block" swap

  • its a gen III small block. also known as the ls7. which is actually 425 ci. but the 427 moniker is more likely to sell.

  • is it an ls7?

or an ls1/2/6 thats been bored and stroked to 427 cubes?

  • the LS1/6 is a GenIII. The LS2/7 is a GenIV. The engine in the vid is a sleeved GenIII making it 427ci (or 422 or 423 or 425, etc). The LS7 is actually a 428, but we all know that's a Ford number so Chevy calls theirs a 427.

    Know your facts, dumbass.

  • Not really, it's a big-cube small block, a completely different thing.

  • nope, still a small block, its all about bore/stroke, they even have a 454 small block now. Small block refers to the outer dimensions of the block, not the cubic inches :)

  • lovveee it !
