Wow Sharon...what a beautiful young lady you are! I'm not saying that because of your appearance - your intelligence is what makes you attractive =D You sound so passionate about skin care - You'd make a great Dermatologist!
Had to pause the video to say this...thank you for this video!!! :) As always you look beautiful and are so nice and helpful. I myself have them and am going to try lemon mixed with sugar to exfoliate them away. I hope you check out my channel sometime and give me some feedback :) I love your videos!
dude we have exactly "scars", i hate them cuz i can still see the red spots after putting my make up on. HATE HATE HATE i'm thinking of getting rid of them by laser, cuz its faster, but i heard that laser makes ur skin fragile and really thin. i've struggled with acne for a year and half, and now brown spots. so freaking tired of them
@blondegaijin I'm sorry that's all you got out of it, but I talked about so much more. Obviously, you didn't get the point of this video. I was clarifying a lot about the subject. The subject of scar removal is complex. I was also responding to my subscribers who have watched my skin improve substantially by sharing all I did and know. It seems like you want a clear cut answer, but there isn't one. Good luck trying to find the answer you desire.
This is highly helpful. I like how honest you are with us. How can I help my skin from someone wearing two pounds of makeup? I can't. Normal people have weak moments and pick at their acne! and I've been fighting with that too. I think that is a large portion of how your skin looks (if you pick at it)
Basically, thank you so much for this video... it's really honest and helpful. Your skin looks really healthy... you can tell that you love your skin! you do your research!!
@hilanne0088 Research is key! I definitely have spent a lot of time studying my skin and just dermatology in general! =) Mm.. I still wear make-up all the time, but it's about choosing the right products and being very persistent with taking it off. And yes, I totally understand the temptation to pick! I still fail at keeping my fingers away from my face! I think just remembering how much damage you will be doing is helpful. =)
:O I'm gonna b stuck with a HUGE scar right between my eyebrows for 4-6 months I'm gonna die ppl make fun of me so much saying r u Indian or somthin wen they know I'm not I'm gonna need lots of foundation to cover this :(
@138ash Just keep applying medication to it and use concealer with medication in it. I'm guessing since people can see it you don't have bangs or a fringe to cover it. If it's that big of a deal you could have your hair cut to cover it, and when it's gone your bangs should have grown back out.
Hi and thank you so much for sharing your story and journey. You've given everyone out there some hope and positivity which at times seem elusive like a white unicorn! When my acne heals, it leaves a tiny dark mark very similar to a beauty mark. I've not been able to identify what this scaring would be called on the acne.org site? In your opinion would this be considered a macule(sp)? Much tx! You're gorgeous!!
I HIGHLY recommend Cicaplast by La Roche Posay. It will heal your face faster than the 4 to 6 months you mentioned. It repaired my skin/"scars" when nothing else would.
@ThexxAcnexxChick Ya I do. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that in the video. I have 3 major ones on my right cheek. The others are more subtle. I haven't gotten rid of them. The only way you can is with laser surgery.
really? wow. you're right i should b patient... i think it was my clarisonic that caused the breakout along my jawline and forehead cuz that's the only thing i did differently.. anyhoo, thank u so much for doing what you do. you are very inspiring and i know you really wanna help other people who r suffering from acne. thanks : )
hi sharon..i'm a little over 3 weeks on the regimen and yesterday broke out like crazy again i dont know why... i feel so bad cuz it was getting better then this happened.. i use a full finger length bp. still dry but nit as flaky as before. i dont know what to do. i have the aha but im scared to use it as it may cause more cystic acne.. i'm stressing out over my skin it's annoying.
@bewtyfan Please don't give up. I had my roommate/best friend go ont he regimen after she started suffering from major major acne and just recently we started noticing great improvement in her skin. It took her 3 whole months to notice a difference. I made her keep going and be very strict with herself. I really think you should go at least 3 months before you give up. Be patient and stay strong!!!
your skin looks amazing! i found that the AHA has the most impact on diminishing hyperpigmentation. when I use it I see differences within a matter of days
@ninebellavintage do you mind sharing what AHA product it is that you use? i have a lot of hyperpigmentation too that im beyond ready to get rid of. thanks!
@cuppycake479 The two AHA products I have tried and loved are the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Face Peels ($80 for 30 day pack) & Ole Henrikson Invigorating Night Cream ($45 for 1.7 oz jar). I bought them both from Sephora. I think the Alpha Beta Peels work the best. They are so expensive but since I have sensitive skin I couldn't use them everyday so they lasted a long time. If you do get them get the ones in the travel pack because I found that the ones in the jar dry out quicker.
@tannaor Please watch my updated skin care routine video or my nightly skin care routine video from a while back. I use other products for taking off make up! =)
I used to have heaps of acne too. I had those tiny ones all over my cheek and forehead area. Your skin is gorgeous! :D Hopefully you can eventually get off the acne meds :)
can you suggest any drug store mascara thats kinda like oscillation intensity? im a student cant afford to spend too much money on a mascara..but i really do want a right kind of mascara cause my eyelashes get so droopy and bothers me so much! thanks:)
@kaysterG You can read up on it. They have info on their site. There are products that contain hydroquinone which works to lighten skin, but there's a catch with that ingredient. You can't use it in conjunction with benzyl peroxide because it can potentially darken your skin combined together.
is there a reason why you are not using the moisturizer? i just got the system after watching your videos, and so far so good. (i don't understand why one would need TWO pumps of moisturizer though, one pump is still too much)
@chainedskys I used it up until I got cured. My skin is on the normal-dry side though so after I cured my acne, I switched out the moisturizer to one that is more suitable for my skin. That doesn't mean you should right now. Like I said, I used their moisturizer until I knew I was cured. And yes I do agree that two pumps is a lot!
