  • so all the times i cut a whole plant down and smoked the 2 oz i was only getting real high part of the time?? halfbaked i guess.

  • i have a question. have you seen Santa Cruz Labs utube page with their explanations of Cannabinoids and how they synthase to one another. After watching them all it seems to me that any CBG found in testing (steephill) would basically be energy that didnt have time or didnt 'synthase - synthesize' into the other cannabinoids such as CBD, THC, CBN, etc. i was wondering if there has been any research done into what enzymes are at work that do the 'synthase' of CBGA and if we could manipulate..

  • my apologies for disagreeing with your drying method but in all my searching ive never seen anyone say to let it go more than 2 weeks before putting it into jars and then 'burping' it to the moisture level you want it. Also im really taking it out of context because you even say to not let it get below 10% moisture. My apologies again good Sir. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  • Plant genetics can very a bit, meaning curing is not exactly the same for each strain. Gemerally once dry, you can "cure" pot for about 2 months where it can increase in potency. After that time period THC degrades to CBN and CBD and why sativa strains are less up then they are the first few months, for instance. After this time period, unless you freeze your cannabis, the THC slowly degrades to less active forms.

  • I run 1 dehumidifre, and 1 tini fan on low in the drying room, and im in Seattle. When the RH gets below 40%, the budds dry to crispyness in 3 days. How could I leave them hanging for that long? I like 60F, and 60%rh, for about a week. That keeps it from drying too fast. THen I trim up all the sugar leaf i leav on while it drys. after that paper bag till all hte stems are cracking. then jars. My budd would turn to dust after 4 weeks in a drying room.

  • So since your top buds are harvested 3 weeks before your lower budds. How flushed are your lowers? You would think they would be nothing bud dead, rotton brownness after 4 weeks of flushing. Atleast 4 weeks of flushing, if they are cut 3 weeks after the top budds.

  • your actually wrong, completely wrong. i dont have time for an armature peace

  • lol your an idiot i know drying is essential before curing. Jesus Christ, ive been cultivating for 10 years. just stick to videos bro you not fooling anyone. pshhh retard

  • after reading the description i finally see that its a method for curing seeds. This is perfect for curing seeds, my apologies for not reading the description, i let the title fool me.

  • This man has forgotten more about growing cannabis than 90% of you have ever learned.

    Period.

I have about 25 years under my belt and this guy is laying it on the line for you. Show some respect.

  • @mrwilliamwonder show me one video on line that someone dries their bud hanging for 6 weeks without jars and i will.

  • @brick420247365 At certain times of the year in my area it'll never dry down like I like it. At other times it'll dry in 3-4 days crispy through-out. Again, no ONE size fits all here.

  • @mrwilliamwonder ok after reading the description i see that it actually says its his method for curing seeds. i let the title fool me. This is Perfect for curing seeds. my apologies.

  • @brick420247365 im speaking about Curing dick. not drying , its different progress to pull out the true and highest potential fragrance and flavinoid content possible , and yes I love flowers and always will, they retain a taste that sum wax, hash, oil, can't give me.

  • @888giordano i do love concentrates tho of all kinds.

  • @888giordano i dont care what you're talking about you say 4 dehumidifiers and 4 fans moving the buds the whole time for 4-6 weeks. no bud is gonna make it that long without completely drying out.

  • @brick420247365 yerp

  • 4 to 6 weeks hanging with fans and dehumidifiers is overkill, no chance of any moisture left. 1 week hanging then mason jars opening and closing daily until moisture pulled from inside the bud...

  • @brick420247365 Think man, up North intercontinental...NO dehumidifiers needed. Down south and humid YES. NO ONE SIZE FITS ALL brick. Wise up.

Is this the BREEDER STEVE from Overgrow and Cannabis Culture? It must be...this is one of the few people who know more than me.

  • @mrwilliamwonder quit whinin, no one listens when you yell anyway.

  • @mrwilliamwonder if thats the case, why did u try to educate him on this very thing in a later comment? he told you that you are totally wrong and that he doesnt have time for amatuers. Stick to being a Subcool fanboy, u seem to be good at that.

  • dudes a crackhead slow curing in mason jars is the best method

  • @888giordano You still smoke flowers? What so you know?

  • @888giordano Cannabis increases in potency for 1-2 months then degrades. After the cure period of about 3-6 weeks it should be frozen.

  • ask lilcisco about the critical acid cycle' hes the one poseing like he knows everything

  • i think we all need to show some kind of respect for everyone here

  • mr seedeeznuts i think u should sit back and learn how grow before u can teach from good growers buddy

  • @LILCISCO1604 what ever dipshit im still not going to do it ....un like u' i can tast organic residues & sault particals from a mile away..and i'll keep knocking out my bottoms....lol' everyone knows to hack after dark......lilcisco bin studying all weekend...lol

  • @MrSeedeeznuts next time put@.....so i can know your still talking shit

  • @LILCISCO1604 learn how grow your self......

  • breeder steve breeder swirve breeder dj short i love u guys

  • I trim my buds the same day I harvest the plant or top. The leaves are firm and cut off quite nicely. Different strains of marijuana are different to trim. You want to remove all the large leaves and trim off the leave tips that are all around the buds themselves. I take the time to remove the large leaves right to the stem, leaving little to no stem stick in my buds. This is a learned skill, but not too difficult to improve as you go (grow). Makes for a great smoke.

  • does that answer your quest mr seeddeeznutz hahaha

  • Temps over 80 degrees and too much moisture and even rough handling will actually decrease your THC potency. Be gentle with your buds from trimming through drying, it will pay off in potent reefer.

  • Should include good air circulation for both trimming and drying rooms - As you will find the odors can be quite strong at this stage. Keep the room around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, heat is not necessary at this stage and only increases odor.

  • Now that we know when to harvest our cannabis, the next question is; How do we actually cut and trim our plant (buds) and then dry it properly to cure it for the best taste and smoothest smoke?

  • a quick drying technique

  • I quite often have trimmed buds from the different 'tops' of the plant based on how they look individually, before I took down the entire plant. So as the plant progresses, you may have already harvested half of the buds before you 'chop' the plant down (so to speak). This also helps with being able to smoke some of your cannabis and "test" your crop using

  • in color - be patient, and be sure of what you see. You will harvest excellent weed at this point without passing the premium harvest window and the weed will generally NOT make you completely lethargic when smoked.

  • When the resin glands or trichomes (on your buds) are about one-half turning a milky white or amber in color (versus clear or translucent), and the small hairs have begun to turn orange, brown or reddish in color, it is then time to harvest your weed. You have a window of 5-7 days for peak harvest and potency. I will tell you, the more amber the trichomes have turned, the 'stonier' the pot will likely be.

This is why I recommend harvesting when about 1/2 of the resin glands have turned amber

  • Hey dickstick....You wanna debate me fine, I've been arguing with stupid hippies in Humboldt longer than 90% of you have been stealing bung hits..that answer cost my boss several hundred as I ain't doing this for fun nor free and your smart-ass name calling doubled my pay so thanks! In future if anybody wants to ask me a question it will have to be at seedmine site, these are LAST words I will type here! What is Hill reaction? What is ATP, what elements is it composed of? How about Krebs cycle?

  • Flushing is a myth and a sign you have been over-salting them, as the light(s) feed the plants and we only give them their vitamins. Could feed a little kid pounds of flint-stones but he would starve? If nutrients levels monitored to ppm then is zero need to "flush" a plant, if you are growing "organic" you are already starving your plant anyways so they really have no need to flush..but always harvest flowers before lights/photosynthesis starts as their products taste nasty? Peace, Steve Tuck

  • so tell me lilcisco ' if i do what hes telling us' like harvesting my way down the plant''' how the fuck dose this work around my flushing.......pm me

  • no its not' i just took a look at his channel........

  • i bet lilcisco's is steve

  • @GROWERofFOURTWENTY Yeah. I live in seattle where the RH gets in the 80's and 90% range most winter, and i use 1 pussy dehumidifre. Maby wiht a 30,000 watt wearhouse, and in new orleans you would need that. Hell my buddys in Denver have to keep buckets of water with airstones in them, so their shit doesnt dry out in a day.lol

He is a smart guy as far as other thigns go, but i dissagree with some stuff.

  • dry hang for 4 to 6 weeks? gtfoh

  • QUESTION FOR SOME GROWERS HERE THAT SEEM TO THINK THEY KNOW IT ALL. HAS ANYONE GENETICALLY DEVELOPED THERE STRAIN AND IF SO WHAT THE NAME OF IT ?

  • @LILCISCO1604 chuckin pollen on a bud doesnt require any skill.

  • STRICLTY FOR U PUSSTAINE LOLZ

  • THIS IS EXACTLY WTF HES DOING NOT ONLY THAT, THIS FUCKEN GUY GROWS WAY MORE SHIT THAN ANY MOFOS ON HERE PERIOD. THIS GUY IS THE FUCKEN CREATOR OF HEROJUANA ,GHOST O.G,OGIESEL,AND SO MANY MORE..... SO BEFORE ANY HARDCORE MOTHER F...KER GROWER STARTS TALKING SHIT BETTER THINK TWICE AND TRY TO FIND SOME VIDEOS ON HIS CROPS. BREEDER STEVE ,DJ SHORT,BREEDER SWERVE I LOVE U GUYS

  • @LILCISCO1604 not since he went to jail in 204 you fucking goof

  • @LILCISCO1604 2004

  • you say only harvest the best ripe bud and let the bottom half go for another 2-3 weeks......for 1 ''how dose this work around my flushing.....2 there is no way you can do this when working with synthetics .......maybe with organics......whatever im going to look a little more in to this ...and another thing do you have another channel or something ' with lets say maybe some of your plants.....and what line of nutes do you run with ......i get a funny feeling like your a floranova kinda guy....

  • @MrSeedeeznuts I think some person meets up wiht him, and films a bunch of skits, every once in a while, then uploads them. Im starting to think it isnt steve, kinda like MMJ bootcamps, channel person, wasnt Tang, or Chubbs. Anywasy, I was thinking that too. I guess the budds you harvest last, have to have been being flushed for weeks, and weeks, to have the first ones flushed, before harvest. Hell the sugar leaf, and budds would probably be yellowing off by then. lol

  • @Bret1Maverick for real'''......i keep pm'ing him' but he never gets back to me...i dont think its him incharge of the channel anyways'' ........anywho i just subed to your channel'' take it easy buddy......

  • everybody here on you tube the mas himself is speaking listen and learn from this master grower beacuase alot of growers dnt like to teach. so when this man is speaking everybody shut the f......ck up

  • @LILCISCO1604 Thumbs up buddy! Steve is the man!

  • @LILCISCO1604 anything you say pusstaine

  • breeder steve good video man im a big fan of yours buddy great vids and knowledge

  • I pull off all the water leafs, and cut the tips off of all the leafs that only have rizin, at the base, but not too the tips. then hang it. When teh outside is dry I break everything down, and trim it up. Now the buds arent all the way dry, but they wont go flat on one side if they lay down, so i set them on a peace of cardboard, spaced appart nicely, to get good airflow, and put a tini fan, blowing over the top. When the stem cracks, I put them in jars, and burp accordingly. I make hash too.

  • @Bret1Maverick Cheers bro! thats basically how I do as well. I do all my trimming at once, then hang, and when the stem can crack I will jar it up and burp for however long I have to! Big buds always take more burping, thats for sure. You dont want that mold!

  • @davis311c exactly. I aslo know the stems wont crack on the inside of teh big buds, once they crack on hte outside, so that moisture from the big buds, I let transfer to the really dry budds, so i make sure to have a bigger kolah, in a jar, with smaller buds, that got a little dryer, at the core. Then they alll seem to be the same, after a few days. After a week, it really starts to get dank. lol :) crazy what you can do to a budd, with a jar.

  • This guy is right on the money "ball". Without a multi harvest plan your not getting all mature flower. Some of the flower is ready, but a lot is not. Shoot my grandma taught me this in the vegetable garden

  • I just can't take this guy serious. I'll find another vid.

  • ur way of drying is crazy y so long 4 weeks n jorge says to let it slow dry for 7 to 14

  • @no36t I feel its a bit long to,but to each is own. It also depends on if you have any airflow in your space. Some people will put in a place that has just a big of airflow and mostly dehums. I prefer a mild bit of airflow along with slight heat and dehum and it usually take me 2 -3 weeks!

  • Steve, these are great videos! Thanks! Tell me more about the Staged Harvest/Maxi-cropping? Seems to be allot more work. Do you flush before final harvest? Could you do a vid on final flush of nutes?
